    All Worlds Maintenance (Oct. 23)

    At the following time, we will be performing FINAL FANTASY XI maintenance on all worlds. During this period, FINAL FANTASY XI will be unavailable.

    We ask that players who are scheduled to enter Assault areas, Dynamis or Limbus at the time of the maintenance wait until it is complete before entering. Please note that we cannot replace items that are lost during the maintenance process

    - Other in-game issues.

    Wow... Aspi and Nid popped day after for us. But still waiting on KB, which after 3-4 days straight of first window pops is already at 4 am EDT. :/

    Well, at least now it'll all be NQ and I don't have to feel bad if I can't be at a camp today.

    usually patch-errors that make them look like utter retards are usually unpatched as "other issues". Wouldnt be the first time.

    I hate that, it's so vague, they could ninja-update anything without our knowledge.

    And hush to anyone that says Steam Cleaner was SE's fault. They just changed the pop condition, and when nobody could figure it out, they just put it back like it was, remember? It was NEVER broken.

    So now was it AV getting locked, or AV not getting locked anymore, the bug. *Drum Roll*

    An LS mate of mine can't use Hasso or Seigan as SAM37 or WAR75/SAM37. It says "Debug Error: Please Report" they say. So I think that might be another issue, but I dunno if they'll be patching Hasso or Seigan to be less effective.

    Did you kill the NMs? Seems killing the NMs makes then retreat quicker. All the latest besieged have been shorter than pre-patch.

    Here's hoping SE can fix its spaghetti code without fucking something else up in the process

    that's what makes it fun. In the longer beseiged the giant's drink wears off before it ends anyway, but I have much more fun with these new additions than boring old vanilla beseiged.

    I didn't, but all 3 Mega Bosses have been dead since a day or two after the patch. We normally get 1000 or 1080 exp in Besieged, I've missed only like one since patch (THF buffer is low and I <3 the 'story' of besieged). They do seem to retreat a lot quicker. I think pre-patch you had to kill ALL the randomly placed "Generals" for a mob army, now maybe you only need to kill a certain % of them, not all. A number of Besiegeds pre-patch we'd be stuck and there would only be ONE non-NM left and that was the guy to trigger retreat, that's not the case now.

    Speaking of Besieged, has anyone else noticed that they nerfed how often they happen now too? Guess that's the price we've gotta pay to have a 200 exp increase.

    They happen at the same rate on my server. We've had 3-4 sets of level 6's since the patch.
