After about a half hour fighting The End I got pissed off and bumrushed him with shotgun and grenades.

I almost forgot about that fight too. Bites you and then says "Mmmmm very tasty!" Shot a yellow beam from her teeth even...lol.


I like a lot of the classic fights (Super Mario RPG, Suikoden 2, Earhbound (fighting a WHOLE SCREEN and can only win by praying, lol) Kefka, FFT, Double Dragon), but here's some of my more recent favorites:

Okami: Killing Orochi by getting him drunk then kicking his drunk ass. Awesome.

KH2: It's hard to say since I like that game, but that last boss fight was simply amazing, especially the innovation (save Sora, Riku!) and the CSes at the end.

Zelda: WW: I still can't believe how much I enjoyed that ending. As much as I liked previous Zelda titles, none of them never actually made me say "Holy shit" out loud from the ending (I'm sure cutscenes did though)

And I hate to say it, but what was that guy in the skintight red outfit in Soul Caliber 2? He had excellent combat moves and wasn't really a boss, but I hated him so badly because he was nasty (not tough nasty, eww get away from me nasty)

Psi-ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy had a very fun final boss fight I thought.

Hell, that whole game was just pure awesome.

One of my favorite boss fights has to be the fight with Starwolf on the "hard" path in Starfox 64. They can be sooo easy if you get a lucky kill on Wolf, but if you don't then he alone drags the fight out for SO long.

Though its not terribly difficult, the Finalhazard from SA2B deserves mention. That fight was *FUN.* I need to go replay that game.

Lets see
DMC3 - Cerberus was extremely hard since like was said you don't have much life or abilities, and I also loved the Beowulf fight.
MGS (any) - Ocelot fights (so fun)
FF II/IV - Rubicant, Valvalis, and the Wall. Somehow I beat Zeromus on my very first try, I know I'm lucky. Also Odin was fun, gogo throwing spoon.
I really need to play Wind Waker, and I'm currently stuck in the first room of the Water Temple in OoT, but I would love to see that Shadow Fight or w/e. Can I send my save file to someone with the rom to beat the Water Temple for me lol?
Metroid (any) - Ridley fights are some of the most fun video gaming I've ever had, surprised only 1 other person mentioned Metroid.

Tyrant - Resident Evil Gamecube remake (on real survivor mode)
Final Riku - Kingdom Hearts 1. My god, he NEVER gives you an opening for attack. I was fighting him for like half an hour.
Shinryu - FFX. "Hey, kid. I'm gonna turn Yuna into stone, then shatter the bitch. BTW raise won't work. You're fucked now, lulz."
Death - Castlevania on NES.

Can't think of any boss fights I actually enjoyed off the top of my head right now, cuz I'm rushing out the door to NOT be late for school. Which I will fail at.

I agree this fight was very difficult, you're talking about the one in the castle on that platform thing or w/e right? But, it was so much fun too.
The only thing that annoyed me was having to watch the cutscene about Kairi every time which was SO LONG.
But yea that fight rocked man.

Good times, I enjoyed a lot of fights already mentioned, but I'll add these:

Ace Combat games usually have fucking awesome end fights, favourites being AC5 and AC0 (music alone makes it epic).

Chrono Cross: some fights were awesome, main one I remember was fighting Darius I think, on the Isle of the Damned?

FFX: Penence, super secret boss, fucking huge HP and is able to kill you in 1 attack if you don't plan out properly

Disgaea/2: Zetta fight, Prinny Baal etc

Star Ocean 2: Last fight

Star Ocean 3: fighting Lenneth and Freya

Last fight in KH2

Threads of Fate, Final Fight <3

DMC 1: Nightmare 3 in DMD mode

Nightmare 3 really is an absolute nightmare to kill. I found Vergil 3 hard as well.

Honorable mention also goes to Keyblade Riku and Ursula.

Proud Mode Xaldin in KH2 can also rape your face pretty good if you don't level up a bit.

Fighting Magus solo as Frog in Chrono Trigger is definitely my most memorable boss fight. The atmosphere and music was effing amazing, easily the best boss fight ever IMO.

Wild Arms 3 for PS2. You fought a secret boss called Jon Dee. Anyway it countered any move you did with an attack called "You had it coming" it was great.

You saying that reminded me of the Ronso fight in FFX. That was amazing. The music, the story behind the fight, and the battleground, just incredible.

I Loved that whole game but hated this shit out of it. For me playing that game upwords of ten time ive only ever seen her once.

best battle though. Giant CraB
