Best&Worst Boss Fights! (Final and others!)

Maybe its just me, but I powerlevel grind the hell out of my characters in every RPG so I am way overleveled. Then I go and beat the living shit out of all the bosses so they really are rarely difficult at all. The only somewhat hard battles in RPGs are the bosses that are harder than the final boss and require you to be close to max level usually, even those aren't really hard. Kingdom Hearts 2 was really fucking easy btw, it shouldn't have a single boss on your hardest boss list. Go play a DMC game on Dante Must Die Mode, Ninja Gaiden on Hard in Master Ninja Tournament, or Viewtiful Joe on its hardest difficulty. Those are actually difficult for recent games. The 8 and 16 bit eras of gaming had harder games imo.

So I hooked up my Zsnes last night with the usb snes controller. I started playing the game and I can see what you mean, I got kinda bored though since it wasn't that fun, but like, I didn't make it over one of the walls (Knights can't usually double jump so I didn't realize) and got ass raped by like 4 zombies or w/e the fuck they are. So I can see where this could be hard. Your main attack move spear throw thing is pretty bad ass though.

I remember finally finishing Super Ghouls and Ghosts on the SNES back in the day... forgetting about that series "tradition" of not getting the real ending unless you went back to rebeat the game with the stupid special weapon.

This game has driven more people to drink than camping in the Aery.

Ohhh yes I fucking hated him it took me like 3 tries to beat him. Mainly because I was over at my brother's house for thanksgving and one of the kids ran by and knocked the ps2 over and I had him @1% jesus that pissed me off.

It's been forever since I played FFII (us), like 12 years, but couldn't you just insta-kill Zeromus by throwing the Spoon?

Velius, at the end of Chapter 3 in FFT, is a tough fight. Anyone ever play Crystalis on the NES? Rosencrantz at the end of Vagrant Story. The Boss in MGS3...

I positively fucking despise any boss on any level of any Tenchu game. The combat engine is such shit in those games, and why can I Grand Master through an entire level but not stealth-kill the boss? WHY?????

Velius isn't so bad. Give Ramza Equip Gun and Auto-Potion, drop the Hi-Potion you get from winning the gate fight, equip a Mythril Gun on him and go nuts. You basically Scream until you're getting 2-4 turns in a row and just lay waste to Weigraf, then do the same to Velius.

FF9 is 1 of my favorite FFs, so this battle was real awesome to me. Not to mention the fact you fight like 3-4 sweet boss dragons before him if I remember right. Been like 5 years.
