Almost all of the water that's sent down the drain is reused...I don't understand why people don't know that.

Even the water that you poop in is reused. Chances are, water you drink from your faucet or fridge was once toilet water that someone used, but obviously it's not dangerous because it's thoroughly cleaned at sanitation plants.

I understand, however, that people have problems using too much water because of high water bills, but people who think that water in your home is just dumped somewhere and wasted are dumb.

When I was a Young/Vibrant/Obese 16 year old showers were like a drive-thru 3-5 Minutes tops

Now 10 years later im Old/Slow/Lazy/Morbidly Obese and my shower ritual is around 30-45 minutes (morning or night)

I make my bathroom into Sauna by how much hot water I use
The steam is also a kick ass part
Only problem that sucks for me is, that me and my mother own a building
5 apartments, when I'm using the shower and if anyone from the other adjacent/above apartment uses the toilet or use the shower I get hit the coldest water to hit me or lose pressure and get a sprinkle of water =/

I drink that shit like no tomorrow, the water bottled bullshit that most people buy, thinking that there water comes from a spring or Fiji are fucking retarded

Its some couple in Pittsburgh filling the bottles with water from there bathtub (<3 Lewis Black)

Also from Lewis Black, "Coke got there own bottled water for sale, You know that water has to be bad that they wouldn't even use it to make Coca-Cola"

Oh every 3 months the city sends us a water bill

Water usage is always $200-350+
Sewerage Charges (ala flush and running leaks) $400-700
Totaled every 3 months I recieve a nice invoice from the DEP of NYC to pay around $850+

(Weird Fact, in the Winter my building uses the most water, due to heating the building, then it is Spring, then Summer, then Fall (Autumn); it's really strange Summer isn't a water hog as I would have thought (hot weather, cold shower), but for strange reason my building gets alot of usage during thos e2 seasons then the latter 2 seasons

So it gets very ridiculous in NYC over the water charges and the usage @_@''
