Download the Toshiba-Samsung_360_Auto_Flasher and follow the instructions in
the readme.txt. If you can boot off of a USB drive, i recommend that for
speed and size, however a floppy or 2 does the trick as well.
now, on yer opened xbox that is turned off, unplug the xbox's sata cable on the dvdrom. make sure your AV cable is plugged
into the back of the xbox (no tv needed). Turn the xbox on, and wait 4seconds, then plug in your SATA cable to the dvdrom.
The other end of this sata cable should be on the internal slot of the PCI card, btw. After you plug it in you'll see the
xbox's green ring of lights dance around for a sec before going back to normal. Go ahead and reach up and press enter on your
keyboard.
Select the appropriate option that the AutoFlasher gives you when you boot
into it, and follow the instructions. If it says "No drive found" you are
either using the wrong version of mtkflash (ie, wrong chipset) or your timing
is off. Try turning the xbox on, counting to 4, plugging the sata in and
immediately pressing enter to start the flash. I had to try 2 times or so,
but I got it.
it'll write all 4 banks, and then yer done.
