My gaim client has had real time spell check for years and I knew it was a matter of time before a browser finally implemented it for forums and stuff.

Just for reference, the nightly builds of SeaMonkey have had that for months. However, the size of the memory leaks caused by using Flash in Firefox are completely incomparable to the black hole of SeaMonkey, so... I'd say just stick with using Firefox.
