I'm just mad i can't get that on my main, that's a mean restriction. I dunno much about worldpasses, I assume I have to create a new character to use the gold WP and get the item on that character.

I have enough mules, I don't want to pay another dollar for the Mini Airship Mule.

I don't think you quite understand how it works. You make a Gold World Pass for someone else who has never made a character. They get a copy of FFXI, make a new account and a character using that world pass. You and the person you invited are now linked together.

After 365 days, both you (the inviter) and your friend (the invitee) can get your Miniature Airships, assuming you're both still playing. You have to form a party with them to get the reward. I did this with a friend of mine from college who had wanted to start playing. Back in July, we went down to the World Pass vendor in Bastok and got our airships.

Seyrr Force One then carpet-bombed the Metalworks. >.>

Edit: Just wanted to add, this isn't "giving something to new people". To get the airship, the new person has to stick with the game for a year. And you get rewarded for bringing SE a customer who stuck around for a year.

But yeah since nobody can even see your moghouse furniture anyways you can just swap the .dat files for some other random furniture, and given that the mogenhancement: Experience is already easy to get it is not a big deal not having it I guess...

I did one of these gold pass things about a year ago. But he quit like after 2 months of playing ffxi. If he reactivates his account would I be able to get the airship?

Yes, I had this happen and when my friend restarted, we went and were both able to recieve the mini-airship and timepiece.
