Is there a point to going to central in Archades? I was just there and it seems as though all you get are more rich people talking about you. Waste of an hour doing that "quest" ;;

there's another quest you get there later on, and it also adds to the "Explorer" Sky Pirate Den title(where you have to visit every area)

what i do to move my healer away is i control the healer myself and move them out of AoE range ie breaths etc.

as far as i know you can't see cutscenes again

i got the Diamond Bangle which is supposed to let you get rarer treasure out of chests, but i've been getting alot more Knots of Rust whats up with that

According to the guide, having Diamond Bangle on makes the treasure you are opening 90% Knot of Rust, or 10% really really good item, and makes like every treasure that way. Most of the items(good) are Elixir, Megaelixir, Ether, etc, some being equips i think. Its a low chance, but nice on chests that you know maybe only give a potion or some shit anyway.

hopefully someone can help...

im trying to get to nalbina so i can head to achides(sp), i've been told i need to go thru that way to get to where i need to go

but i cant get the baheim passage since the passage was blocked and i dont know how to get the key for the other passage.

any help would be awesome!

OK soo u just wanna get to Nalbina? From where are you now? Or do you want to go through Barheim?

For Nalbina its a straight zone right from Estersand, and Barheim is completely separate zone from Estersand, just need a key to go through the whole area, which u do by doing the quest or w/e for it.

Rabanastre -> Dalmasca Estersand -> 2 or 3 zones North/Northeast -> Nalbina

If you have map of Estersand, shows you right where Nalbina is, you can also Gate Crystal to the town close to Nalbina, if youve touched that crystal previously, and then its one zone away

No, thats too far north, go south/southeast from that port town

Is it just me or do more people not think some of the music for CS's and boss fights in this game are amazing? And the music on the opening screen before you hit load game....not to mention i find the overall graphics even while not in a CS are outstanding, like KRT and Shrine of Miriam, and Mt. Bur-Omisace..

I need some help guys. Sold my serpeant skin from the nidhog fight and about to do the side quest for the barhaim key... which needs the serpeant skin...

How do I reconcile this?

If i cant do the side quest now, when do i get access to the pasage later in the game?

Really wanted my deathbringer... and esper... /sigh.

It just takes more progression in the main storyline for the quest to finish.

You can't just fly from Rabanastre to Nalbina? >_> Earlier in the game I had accidentally taken an airship to Nalbina because I wasn't reading and thought it was the flight to that sky city. (Didn't realize there was more than one flight at the time ;p) So I had the gate crystal by the time I had to go to Nalbina... I wouldn't think they'd just shut down the flight when time comes to go there, would they? >_>;

Im not sure, i know there is an Aerodome in both, just dont know if they will let you fly to a Imperial controlled city, if not there are gate crystals in both, so long as u touched the one in Nalbina first time you were there, and you have a tele stone, u can just warp there

wow I just had the most epic fight vs. Adramamallalarmamralech in the caverns. I'm level 43, so this should have been really really easy, but...it wasn't.

I went in with my B team and they took off a good 1/2 of its hp (maybe a little more) with a 14 hit quickening. Brought my A team in, and set off another quickening. I guess my eyes went bad or something and I fucking...hit the quickening on the adds that weren't near the Esper...so I essentially wasted ALL of my A team's mana.

The only person in my party with a ranged weapon at that point was Vaan, who was level 25...and dead. So I got him back in, raised him, had him attack it, and then he died. Then everyone else died but Fran. At this point I was just going to give up, but it had suuuuuuch low hp left, that I decided to do something crazy.

I PD'd Vaan and Penelo. I figured I could keep Vaan up long enough for him to kill it. No. He got one shotted, so did Fran. Penny had 250ish HP left, and I was like FUCCKKKK, so I used a megalixer (lol...one person in the party) on her, got her hp/mp up, and did a 4 shot quickening and killed it.

BUT WAIT! THERE WERE STILL ADDS LOL!!11 -_-

I noticed that the adds were still alive, and immediately used a phoenix down on Fran...and one second later Penelo got a fira right in the face and died. But Fran was up! I flee'd out of that fucking shit, and it was so.epic.

I just had the same sort of thing vs Antlion.......man it wasnt hard until the end. Fucking thing goes absolutely rage mode berzerk, attacking non stop, Kracken Club attacking for 300-500 a hit, Vaan tanking, Ashe and Fran pretty much cant even attack, just spamming Curaga on Vaan. Beginning was easy, go in, 10 hit quickening, completely wipes out all the Killer Mantises, Antlion doesnt even get to Cannibalize one. Whole fight is a joke, smooth as hell til the end..........

Goes nuts, finally get so low on mp, he starts killing everyone one after another, im freakin out, using Phoenix downs left and right, finally have all 3 up for a split second, pop a couple ethers, bust out a quickening, but have horrible luck on it and didnt even get a Combo thing at the end, puts Antlion to a freaking sliver of life left. Kills 2 people, only thing left to do, swap in 2 Level 17 people, they do a quickening, horrible luck again, no Combo at the end, but........

He dies!!! by the lvl 17 noobs! yay

I think it's because he is a flying mob, and those by definition = gay.
