As I remember there ain't lizard men, rabbit chicks, and nu mous, judges, and a world called Ivalice in the original FFT, hence my asking about connections to advance.

Rest of that shit, don't think so. But it sure as hell is called Ivalice.Originally Posted by DeadLegend
I'm getting really stoked about FFXII. FFT was, in my opinion, one of the best video games ever made, despite it's deep flaws. The Ramza/Delita dichotomy, the way that right and wrong are all about point of view, and how you save the world at the end but you aren't really lauded as heroes, and the same petty, classist, powermongering activities still continue are incredible and long overdue additions to most videogame stories.

Question remains, I'm wondering about the presence of laws in FFXII

Have you ever heard of the “Lion War”?
It divided Ivalice in two over who
would be the successor to the throne.
How's the Voice Acting? That's all I'm worried about.
All of the above are in the game. Judges are so fucking awesome looking. As I remember there ain't lizard men, rabbit chicks, and nu mous, judges, and a world called Ivalice in the original FFT, hence my asking about connections to advance.
Voice acting is better than most games. I think it's really good. Think that's more of an opinion thing though. How's the Voice Acting? That's all I'm worried about.
So far, this is the best FF I've played in a long time. I can't say it's the best eveeeer until I get farther/beat it. I don't think I'm that far yet, Idk 8 or so hours.
I think the game is amazing, a nice fast paced battle system, the game has a ffxi feel where your using your tanks to point mobs away from healers (breathes and other status stuff) and kiting to get the aoe to only land on yourself.
The story has a nice touch, isn't a cheesy love story. A cool story about war between empires.
My ending time was 95 hours, but I got all the hidden espers and did all the Mob hunts (which I recommend for the real difficulty of the game).
won't say much more so i don't spoil any shit.

Only thing I dont really like about it is while all 5 of the different races are present in the game, you get a bunch humans and a Viera, the rest seemed to kinda get pushed aside. I've been wanting a moogle buddy in a mainstream FF game since FF6 .
P.S. Just because FFT was the shit doesn't mean FFTA was bad. It was amazing, actually, the combat system and basic classes were far more balanced and fun, the story just didn't have the POW! of the first.
I preorderd it but when I get it I can't play it until mid-December.
DAMN YOU RESEARCH PAPERS AND FINALS. DAMN YOU.
