Is it me or does FFX-2 suck ass?

I need to finish FFX-2 up before Tuesday. I'm in the final dungeon story-wise, just need to get past some of the bosses >.> I don't have Berserker dressphere though, just DRK so I guess I'll have to go find that one first.

When the game first came out so long ago, I went all out and tried to get the 100% ending. I got to the final chapter, and went to go get the cutscene in the cabin where you have to sleep in it every chapter... and I didn't get it. It was worth like 2%, and I was at like 94% overall.

...I haven't been back to the game since.

I do wanna play it again though, sooner or later. But it probably won't be for a while

as for the ffx-2 ending. Oh my!!! who would of guessed tidus and yuna met up again!!!!!!!

I know i'd never of figured out that they were going to find each other again at the ending. Its not like that was what the whole game was about or anything.

that's a secret ending. There's many endings, including one where she only meets his spirit and not himself personally.

There's also the fun ending where Shuyin blows up the world while you're fighting him in Vegnagun.

Ooh I never got that one. The only one I got was the one where yuna whistles and you gotta press Square and tidus's spirit comes out. Went back and tried to 100%, missed out mascot/trainer, but got dark knight, gonna go through it a third time someday. Not like ff12 coming out here anytime soon, lol.

I think I played straight through the game 3 or 4 times when I got it. When you look at your memory card files on the ps2 broswer each playthrough has a different monster to represent it. lol Cactuars, moogles, pupus, and some other shit. It's a neat touch.

You know there's one conversation you can have late in the game where you talk to that kid Shinra and he starts talking about how if you could harness the power at the center of the world/Farplane you could supply energy to the entire planet (or something) <.< It's kind of a fun reference to FF7 with Shinra company harnessing the lifestream as an energy source.

The Via Infinito boss was so easy for me. I had Yuna on Dark Knight with the Adamantite accessory or whatever its called. She attacked ungodly slow but couldn't be hurt. I basically soloed the fight with her. That's also how I beat Angra Mainyu lol.

The first time I played FFX-2 I didn't even finish because I rushed through it and figured it sucked ass since it was like 200% sidequests and 10% storyline. So it just stayed in one of my drawers for like one year and then finally I figured I'd give it a shot and looked up a 100% in one run walkthrough (no way in hell was I going to do more than one run play >.<) and then it was fun even though I felt cheap as hell following every single thing by heart but it was interesting nonetheless - good storyline and fun sidequests like the 100 floor dungeon. I got like 99% on first walkthrough but I still got perfect ending somehow.

I ended up playing a second time and it only took like 2 hours to get through the game.. Catnip and gunner ftw.

I cant find a guide anywhere, but when does the 100 floor dungeon enter in? Chapter 4? Chapter 5?

I keep missing cool items because i think ive gotten everything and then get stuck in next chapter >.>.

KH2 did it well. Just beat it on hard mode and you get the best ending automatically. Of course, I'm not very good at those types of games and I never played KH1 so it was a bit hard for me, but I beat it XD

Yes, it's chapter 5. Just visit Bevelle anytime during chapter 5 and you can enter the 100-floor thing.

Ack I just looked up how to get adamantite, Gunner's Gaundlet lvl10 reward >< I hated that minigame, looks like I have some gaundlet to do!

You’ll receive the Berserker Dressphere after completing the mission "Secure the Agency" at Macalania during Chapter 3.

i just checked out my save game with the new game plus (cool).. completely forgot what i acomplished. im like 70 something % through. i dont remember anything about using the garment grids and i noticed my yrp all have drk capped ;D i think i used some trick to cap some of the job spheres or w/e, something about fighitng a lame mob and doing an endless cycle of abilities

Ya, i was wondering about that, mastering job spheres doesnt seem that bad.

I think im missing drk (getting now), trainer, lady luck, and maybe a couple more.

Story is starting not to suck as well. It just took a loooooong while to get over that opening movie.........

The story starts getting really heartbreaking in chapters 3+.
