Another Ridill on Cerberus

There was a 5-day streak with 3 ridills some months ago on ifrit. It happens. Refer to the random number generator cartoon on page 1. It'd be nice to believe they stopped giving a crap about keeping an item limited to a handful per server but it's doubtful they'd relent after so long.

Ridill better than Kclub, but still lol. Its not as game changing as peeps think. Kraken still nice for DRK in a zerg, but other than that its a pos. Especially for situations when you don't want mobs spamming TP.

Ridill is only better for a warrior. Kraken is better for a DRK, a thief knife is better for a thief. Warrior can also parse almost as well with 2axes axe merits and a meat build. So Ridill is overrated, you lose.

No a Ridill WAR will always parse better than a similarly equipped Axe/Axe WAR as long as the ridill WAR isnt a tard (aka as long as he engages.) Also Ridill DOES benefit DRK a LOT. People just dont let DRKs use them lol. Kraken is rediculously good 1/5 of the time (with merits, without its 1/6 of the time). Ridill is good the rest of the time. THF knife is better for THF, but who'd give ridill to a THF main anyways.

multihit weapons are good for drks for souleater... they will die after souleater, and it will be ready when they're unweakened. Kraken is better for souleater, ridill is a nice alternative though- and in many cases easier to get.

I wouldnt call it a "toy", and it's one of the best weapon in this game, but it's still overrated.

The more rare and broken items are renown for droppign in clusters. Cerberus is in McRidillz season atm it looksl ike.

Ifrit is in McRidillz season also. 4 Ridills in 5 days last I checked.

This isn't an 'hurray i got a ridill' thread. This is showing that the drop rates changed in last update 10 days ago (not 3 years). When one of the best items in the game that has a drop rate of 5% historically all of a sudden drops like rabbit hides, it is something to discuss.

Drop rates didn't change. Or else every server would be experiencing this.

If it really does have a 5% drop rate, getting 5 in a row doesn't mean it's % is changed. You just wont see a ridill for the next 90-100 faf's. Enjoy watching every afeet and ahands blowing up for the next 3 months because everyone and their mannequins have one.

They will parse better in xp party, but difference is seriously not that large. For me, getting ridill meant getting 210 000xp for sword merit, and another 150k to delete double attack. 10% bonus dmg in xp is sweet and all, but I'm not sure it worth the time I spent getting those merit.

On HNM, axe is pretty much the same as ridill.

One thing I remember from the aery was seeing skye hit for a lot of 0s with the ridill sometimes, seemed kinda random. Like you said it doesn't seem super game-breaking on rough stuff.

I'm thinking of asking a silly question but it would more likely be shot down than answered. lol >.>
