Everytime Dragoons want to have a good time, ignorant ass lolDRGs gotta fck it up.
Can't keep a party going for more than 20 minutes... Grand Opening! Grand Closing!
Can't go to Lower Jeuno no more cuz lolDRGs are /shouting for help. "Hey, my AF Helm is so good I gotta bust a /shout up in here!"

There's nothing an lolDRG likes better than wearing full AF. "Hey lolDRG, what body piece you have?"
"I gots me Drachen Mail! I keeps it real!"

lolDRGs love to keep it real... real gimp

fe fi fo fragoon, boy I hates an lolDRG
    LOL

That was an awesome piece of stand up comedy, and it works so well with Dragoons too...

The DRG in question who got the Relic was, in fact, a lolDRG. We still need a good DRG to get the damn thing to see what it can do.
First, I play on midgar with Deeds, and hes by far not a lolDRG.. he may be not up to your bitch-ass standards, so fucking deal with It.

Secondly, would be nice to see PUP more updated. Have It at lvl 35, so far its fun to me (atleast more than BST)

Not to permanently derail, but if I'm not mistaken he refused/declined to do any WS mod testes and also willingly wore barone armour in XP. I think it was more his attitude of "cool, relic" instead of a scientific approach of what is the best way to utilize it and be the best you can be. [i.e. /SAM (Pre-Hasso) and using sushi at Cerberus]

On topic, They need to add an attachment that will effectivly scale the puppet up to the targets level. I had thought origionally that the Tier II attachments were intended to do this, but they fell short on hNMs. I mean something like the way cannonball works, Using the enemy's higher defence as a modifier to the damage of the attack.

I was going to say that as well, then went out for lunch and got distracted by work instead of posting.

    Especially the AF part.

DRKs who XP in their AF should be shot.

I have a theory: With few exceptions, the better AF looks, the worse its stats are. DRK AF looks great, but you shouldn't wear it for any other reason other than that.

    FFXI is all about bandwagon.

Once someone figures out something to exploit with PUP, it'll be the next rage.

One thing that is certain tho, there's still lots of room for expansion for PUP as opposed to lots of nerfing for BLU.

If you lvled PUP you'll be delighted to see the new stuff it gets with the next updates.

    Be different, lvl PUP.

Except DRG was once good, then got nerfed.

PUP never has been good... yet.

Well he sorta has the right concept of spike damage, but listed a lot of repeats and kinda missed the mark with some of it.

    Axe-burn See: Rampage
    Mana-burn OK
    Rampage OK
    Asuran Fists OK
    bone parties See: Asuran Fists
Kirin zerged in 98 seconds See: Rampage, Asuran Fists, Sidewinder
    WS macro swaps Um...
    Sidewinder OK
    Lvl 70+ Blood pacts OK
    Double Minuet Um...
Sneak/Trick Attack WS Sorta OK, but still a WS
Some of those are the same thing (e.g. Axe-burn and Rampage), and some aren't spike damage at all (e.g. double minuet and WS macro swaps), and half of them are just names of WSs, and could just be grouped under... Weaponskills, or TP burn. So the real list is actually:

    • TP burn
      Manaburn
      70+ Blood Pacts

I realise we're enjoying bitching about lolDRG and PUPs, but this was a genuine attempt to find a good use for them. Thoughts?

Maybe, but then what's DoT? Everyone I know refers to things such as SATA Ground Strike, -aga III, SAMs Meding then WSing as "Spike Damage". And WAR/NINs, MNKs, NINs, all as DoT.

He seems to think the only thing that's really 'DoT' is shitty DoT...I dunno, like a PUP. And of course no one in the game wants that.
