Well considering most of the LSes I know on Ifrit killed DL with under 40 people well over a year ago, makes this thread look stupid as fuck. Why would someone want to see this and learn, when there has been a wealth of videos and strats that are over 2 years old. DL is old news. How long ago did we first beat DL as CKD? 2 and a half years ago or someshit, maybe longer lmao. Since then everyone and their mother have killed DL with similar numbers and results. This is some serious OFN.

Giving hope to those smaller LS's that haven't killed him yet?? who knows, maybe asking for advice to kill him without being huddled. Who knows.

again, I dont care if your LS killed DL in their sleep before FFXI even came out. The video is still helpful, especially when theres players that replied to this thread from my server that hasnt even killed it once yet.

Speaking from Pandemonium... Up until yesterday when Kupo killed him for the first time, HydraCorps was the only NA Dynamis LS on Pandy to have the ability to kill him. Others have tried, but have yet to get it, and I suppose seeing videos of other's attempts can only help their cause.

TBC is only one of 4 NA ls's (1 of which was an alliance between 2 dynamis ls's) on Kujata to beat DL, and the only one i know of that's killed him 4 times, as well as the only ls so far to kill him with under 40.

What took you so long? Its a DPS zergfest that solely relies on the ability to overlap CS stuns in rotation so that he can't get off any moves. You just have to kill him in under 2 minutes (hopefully about 1 min). We used Kraken DRK, RNGs (pre-nerf), MNKs, BLMs as damage. We were finished with killing him well before the RNG nerf happened. The make or break factor is how well your CS stun rotation goes anyway. Other than that it really is a simple fight and strategy for it is no revelation. Really OFN.

The way you guys set up for him is really odd. Grats on killing him with so few, but this isn't a solid way to teach younger smaller LS's how to do it. They would want to avoid losing everyone in one move as much as possible, where with how you are setup, you're fucked almost no matter what if he gets anything off.

Dynamis has been out as long for NA's as it has been for JP's, why does it matter if your the first NA to kill or the 4th? A few more osodes? Few more kclubs? The only real advantage JP would have is having more people at/near 75 when dynamis was introduced. But killing it with lower numbers kinda negates that anyway.

Edit: and when you said "one of which was an alliance between 2 dynamis ls's" Did you mean AI+JE? Just because its 2 LS's still doesnt change the fact that 64 is the max number of people. Even being 2 LS's, they had trouble getting 45-50+ people there, where as other single LS's at the time were capable of getting those numbers in by themselves.

Yea, thats what I was saying, traditionally, mages are separate from melee. If he manages to kill off the melee with some AoE at least your mages have a chance to finish him off if his HP is low enough. In that setup, if DL gets anything off, you are pretty much boned.

Everyone talks about the fight itself, but imo, the prep before DL is at least 30% of the fight itself. Making sure u got wings, your melees have a brd(and actually all get songs). There are more then that which alot of ls's don't think about and just rush into DL with the same pt setups they used for the entire run.

So uh... because DB didn't brag about our 38-man DL kill back in mid-March, that means it didn't happen? Isn't that before you guys even won a DL? I think your video needs more BRD banish kill-shot.

We (Apathy - Remora) killed DL with 21 (or was it 22?) once. Got it to 30% with 14 last sunday too. Like half r our kills are with 25~.
