I treat the job forums as a mini-wiki but that's all I can say for it. You're right about General discussion tho. It's a cesspool of bad topics.

Then again BG gets that way sometimes also but nowhere near as close as alla does with the retards.

The rating system is by far the worst form of circle-jerking I've ever seen on a message board.

It is just a cicle jerk. Even in the job forums. I get rated down constantly for disagreeing with some of the regular Sages.

Even in the job forums there's only a few who are worth listening too, but in truth some of them are going downhill, it's as if their brains have slowly began to melt from the rest of the idiocy on the board.

The warrior forum is a perfect example of that. It used to be an alright, reasonably informative place. But as of a few months ago, if you disagreed with any of the "regulars" then you'd just be rated down and ignored. Haven't bothered checking in since January or so, felt like a total waste of time. I'd sooner jerk off for real than circle jerk on a forum.

This has been bugging me for a while now, everytime i play campaign, i notice i ALWAYS Lot items for 600 and less while japanese spray numbers from 500-999 constantly.
Is it just me or does it feel like the game is somewhat programmed to recognise JP players and give them better chances at items, only times ive ever had any luck was in campaign when only NA players were on which at that id lot around 600-999.

Whenever i play during my day time.. which is mostly japanese on campaign etc they always get the high lot, i just did 5 battles in a row and didnt even get a single drop or lot over 572.
And i very often got a few double digits.
Which i find very unfair as i am usually doing the best damage in campaign (Considering no one can get hate off me when im just using regular attacks..)
I get a lot of killing blows on the enemys and generally a lot of exp overall. But i always lot for crap against them, as harsh as bad as their damage is (such as a gimp jp RNG/DNC in full Melee DD gear going around meleeing instead of ranging)

So what's everyone else's take on this.. Are square-enix Japanese elitists or is this coincidence?
