ooking at summoner as a job its just... inadequate, so here's a list of boosts that this job could benefit from in my opinion.
1. double both aoe buff and aoe damage spell range.
2. make it so you can target other people with aoe buff spells, that way we can buff groups safely from the back row.
3.have +summoning magic skill over cap effect BP timer. 3 points over cap= -1 second, max -10 seconds.
4. boost avatar accuracy greatly. namely give them ~75-80% accuracy on vt mobs, giving a fully acc merited summoner the same 75-80% accuracy on it+. in addition to this, have the AF piece that gives acc give a 2.5% acc boost, and the relic piece a 5% boost. give similar boost to magic accuracy.
5.boost avatar melee damage greatly. 50-75 damage on vt mobs at 75.(75-80% the melee damage of a same level average equipped DD) with summoner's pigaches boosting that by an additional 10-20 damage.
6.lower avatar perpetuation by 3 and spirit perpetuation by 5 at 75, possibly by removing a few of the times it increases at level up in earlier levels.
7.have spirit perpetuation merits also effect avatars.
8. have buff pacts like noctoshield, hastega, and earthen ward match their respective spells phalanx, haste, stoneskin in duration and strength, possibly have summoning magic skill effect this.
9. have earlier level pacts scale in damage better to level 75, possibly scale to summoning magic skill
10. increase the amount all healing bloodpacts cure for. or scale to summoning magic skill
11. increase the damage ramuh's enthunder pact gives(10-20 added effect at 75, vs 0-2), as well as his shockspikes pact.
12. have avatar TP both effect avatar melee accuracy and attack. the longer an avatar is out the more powerful it becomes.
13. give us food that does anything positive for our avatars.
14. un-stupify dark spirit, give him some use, possibly versions of drk's drain spells, but have the stat boosts go to random party member instead of spirit.
15. boost our merited bloodpacts, let them do 1k-1.2k un-bursted against elementally weak vt mobs, 1.5k bursted against same mobs.
16. have our level 65 and 70 melee bloodpacts skillchain, possibly even doing darkness or light with the quested weaponskills.
17. second auto refresh trait.
18. a fourth useful ranged weapon/ammo, possibly something that enhances avatars or gives +2hmp.
19. more clear mind traits.
20. a ring or two with +hmp.
