I still don't see what the big F*@$ing deal is wearing dex rings. Sniper's aren't worth the cost. Venerer isn't too bad, but not for only +1.5 more acc.

I get enough TP to SATA/TAWS the tank to start every fight, I don't see why anyone should be *Expected* to do better than that. I don't get out-TP'ed very often, except for the exceptionally geared or SAMs / SAM subs.

Yes, lets let the dumb shits with no gear that is helping the party in any way get to level 75, that will make for some great endgame players.

From what I've gathered, Xylia doesn't do sky, or endgame at all really, but is still pissed at the lack of WHM gear available in sky. Here are some examples of how WHM gets shafted.

And Sky is crap for mages? Some of that Crimson gear would look good on a RDM. Are you saying that Zenith pieces suck for a BLM? Or what about that highly coveted Dalmatica+1 that I see some people drooling over?

regarding ridill:

I was going over the weapons list, and realized just how overpowered this weapon is! So what kind of damage increase would this do for a WAR? 30%+ maybe? Something huge like that I would bet considering probably a doubled rate of WS's or so. You would think it would have signifigantly lower damag since it hits 2-3 damage (like kraken's club, and mercurial weapons) but it's 40 dmg is on par with other swords of equal level! SE usually balances everything out nicely, but I think Ridill is an exception.

Does it outparse relic weapons? Even with the massive crit damage capabilities of things like excalibur and guttler, I still think this would do better or at least on paper it sure looks that way (40 x 2-3 vs 50-55) O.O;

As you can tell i'm really jealous of you war/nin's that get this overpowered weapon, me being a mnk. I hear that nothing can beat a haste built ridill war's damage; i'd like to see one in action some day. Closest thing mnk gets to something like this would be faith baghnakhs, which are actually balanced - having a much lower base damage, only attacking up to 2x, and costing a crapload of virtue stones.

You guys should visit the alla BST forums. I posted there when there way way back in the day. I'm talking about second 75 NA BST on my server old. There were some really quality posters back in the day, really solid Information, testing and THE place to find out xp spots. Probably the best job forum for a while. It was also a great place to find all BST BC/KS events and to post your truly great accomplishments. All BST events are still probably my most memorable and favorite things I've done in this game but...

Now its full of a bunch of 68 BSTS saying how "overpowered" they are. To say that a BST could get outdamaged is blasphemy (DID YOU CONT THE PET DMG TOO?). Tales of being the absolute best crowd control/link controller (you often see BSTS doing this in Dynamis and Sea) and messages of everyone being "jealous" of their supreme soloing ability* of xp and NMs. Any suggestions, especially from people that have multiple 75 jobs(including bst) that BST really needs improvements is met with a wall of resistance saying that they want to play BST their way. That way apparantly means not having a clue on how 90% of the rest of the game works.

/endrant god that forum pisses me off now. I'll find some choice quotes when I get home from work. I truly hope SE doesn't read that forum when they do job updates or else my favorite job is going to get screwed over again.
