Uh, actually... it's not really that ironic.

It's true that people might have known less than they did when they started playing. That doesn't justify not wanting to learn or be proven wrong and continue to be in ignorance. For many people those "gospel truths" were being discovered or told to them by JP 3 or 4 years ago, it really has nothing to do with where someone put them.

And those truths were not only located on Allakhazam. I for one never touched the forum until most of the FFXI population was +70 and, troll accounts included, probably have not made over 25 posts on it.
