History => White man lets Black man work because white man do not want to put the effort into something. Which is melee throwing in BLM so they do not have to deal with AOE and WHM planning.

It all fits in perfectly. The white man (or melee, which it is in this case) could easily perform the exact same task, if they didn't want to take the easy route.

I got into a discussion about what the better headgear to idle in was, Turban, Aegishjalmr, Iron Ram Sallet, or Koenig Schaller. The OP (warriorsky) mentioned that he believes he generates hate when he switches to his enmity gear, and the following conversation resulted.

Also switching to enmity gear does not increase your hate. What you're seeing is the mob attacking someone, knocking their hate below yours, and thus turning back to you right as you coincidentally happen to equip your enmity gear. Then that person does something else to the mob and pops their hate back up above yours again before the mob has a chance to hit you.

Hahahahahaha Serious? Come on now man. I've been PLD long enough to know better than that. I know a thing or two about how hate works hahahah. But in all seriousness they do turn to me, without hitting the other player, the only event that takes place is my gear swap. I know someone else has seen this.

And there was this little gem earlier.

MDB is equally useless to idle in when fighting something that doesn't cast a whole lot. 20-30 defense will knock down the damage you take by maybe 10 damage. So wearing Aegishjalmr or IR Sallet gives you stats that don't help you in place of the ones you could get from Turban that do.

Other than 30 hp, which IR Sallet has 20 of, and the 30 mp, which 25 is burnt up at the first flash, then turban only has 5% haste which cuts your flash timer to 42.75 instead of 45 seconds and voke down to 28.5 instead of 30 seconds. So the 29def, 5enm and 3MDB dont make up for that?

With capped equipment Haste, spell Haste, and Soul-Voiced Marches, you can get your 2-Hour down to like 24 minutes or something... DIDN'T YOU KNOW??!?!!?

It's rather pointless to say "well, obviously you should be able to do it; these 2 leet doods have done it so it's clearly possible!" because it operates under the (mistaken) assumption that everyone playing this game is a leet dood.

If that were the case, I wouldn't still be averaging approx. 10k/hr in most of my merit parties.

I like Nyzul well enough but given the task of climbing again I probably wouldn't do it unless I had to, i'm sure many would agree with me that requirement is too hard, and despite the fact that ToAU is not complete yet i'd rather they focus on the storyline of WoTG and the next expansion than make players lives miserable in nyzul.

I consider myself pretty pimp. 49 AF2 pieces, completely finished sky, black belt, joyeuse, almost first luitenant assault rank, sh*tloads of merits, maat's cap and all the shinny stuff I could get from regular NMs, working on usukane gear. I do einherjar and i have so far only obtained a koenig curiass but Ebody is still on the cards for the future.

My point is that id happy see a ridill go to someone who would make good use of it and actually try and use it to its full potential such as a WAR main character than see it drop to me since i rarely get a chance to play my WAR. Id prolly end up using it for DRK zerg to be honest.

The idea that only the pimp should get any pimp gear is just retarded. Everyone gets a chance. Everyone who wants to put the time and effort in and does not cheat the system should have an opportunity to obtain equipment for their jobs.

Wow, I used to be in a shell with Mellowy, he always used to moan about SMN needing buffs, but apparantly he's gotten a lot more uh "vocal" lately. He's making a bit of a fool out of himself this way though, too bad. Always agreed with him on the basic notion that SMN could use some polish, but his ideas of ways to go about it were a bit strange. I wonder what my old alla account is...
