Has this happend to anyone?

i just installed FF11 for laptop after playing it for ps2 for a few years, and when i log on to my character, when i get into the game, i am immediatly d/c'd, this happend to anyone else?

p.s. ive been wating for pol help for 2 hours..lol

It may not have installed properly and is missing some dats, run a file check since that is the simplest thing you can do while waiting for PoP help and they will probably ask you to do it anyway.

ive reinstalled it 2 times, and i havent had any connection problems, i use wireless, but i just tried to shut everything down and unplug it all and what not and direct connect and same thing happend, idk if its a crash or what but the "R" goes from maybe 300 ish to 0 in about 3 seconds, then i get dc'd

and it was only in my MH @ whitegate...

keeps giving me error 4001 then says time out error and relogs me to select a charecter screen, no idea what that means, anyone help me out?

Are you using a windower or using the program without any add ons?

How about turning off the auto-disconnect function?

i was talking to him on AIM last night..

he did that without windower.. then we tried with windower for shits and giggles.. and still disconnected..

last option i could think of was re-install drivers for everything, and if that didnt work go install XP again <_<
