[img]This story is about an idea, its about a conflict and it involves the world, not just a few kids. The sheer number of polics and involves players in this struggle gives this a very "LOTR, everyone must get involved in this conflict" feel to it. Which I love. Politics, war, tragedy, conflict, world participation,
I havent even gotten into the gameplay and why I love it as well.

Im sorry but we knew there was war and tragedy since first hour we played FFXII and you will finish the game with this idea too without much changes

i dont freaking mind an big story and amazing about wars and tragedy aslong it doesnt take 30min to get the whole story from start to the end of it

If you want to go on storyline, FF1-3 and 5 are most definately the weakest by far. Of course, that's not fair because they were limited in nature. Still, it is sad that SE has yet to surpass FFVI in terms of epic storyline, but that's ok. They still put out the most ambitious, beautiful, and vast games around...I have yet to play too much into the game due to work and family commitments, but what I've seen so far, this is shaping up to be a very solid entry with the possibility of being one of the greats. Right off the bat, the sour taste I had from X was washed away, and I've yet to see any truly annoying character. The new battle system is excellent, and the visuals are terrific.

In the end, FFXII would have to just tank for the last half of the game to get anywhere near FFVIII in terms of storyline ineptitude, in my opinion.

I enjoyed FF8/9/7/6/4 charcters and the world+everything else story
FF10 there was alot of cool events + some cool charcters [i liked auron/rikku/yuna and didnt like tidos)

so yes its not about cloud or the matria etc i could careless about this

2-dallan tells you go to town south of the city to get stone helps you get into the castle
3-woman at the town tells you find her child and then she may help you
4-you find the kid his leg is broken and ask you to turn stone into another type of stone by touching 4 stones around the area
5-you return to the kid and take him back to his mom
6-you return to dallan etc

lol i completed this game 5 months before anyone here did in JP, i did everything you could do in the game, obviously you haven't (not one worty enemy in the game, try doing the friggin mob hunts and tell me the last one isn't hard and the other optional bosses that are scattered through the game).
have you filled up your bestiary? i doubt it, there's a lot of interesting background info on the story if you do it.

also it sounds like you're a FFX fanboy. i can tell you now that the motions outside CG cutscenes in FFXII far surpass those continuously repeated motions in FFX.

who the hell buys a game they can complete in under 10 hours and not do any side stuff? i for sure don't, sounds like you don't either, but this game offers TONS of side stuff to do, you just never do it and try to pick on the fact you quick-played through the game and did none of the actual fun stuff.
You also sound like someone who only cares about graphics. personally i think FFXII has nicer graphics than FFX.

You should go read the thread again when did i said im a ffx FANBOY just becouse i didnt like ffxii storyline i got to be "other game fanboy" or "i want love story" or i want "cloud story" or the rest of none sense stuff? i cleary said FFX had a story but it was super weak go read dude no fanboy would say his game got weak story "but there is atleast story"

FFX and FFX-2 were complete garbage IMO.

If you are so sure that people will hate the game after they finish why do you try so hard to convince people the game is bad before they finish it themselves? I'm all for having an opinion but you're just trying to convince people the game that you rushed through sucks.

The fact that you claim you're all about story but keep harping on about CG cutscenes is laughable. FFVI is still my favorite FF so far and by far. It had the deepest story and very developed characters. Guess what? No CG cutscenes. Stating how cut scenes are cooler when comparing storylines is the most idiotic point that could be made.

When I finish FFXII, I'll let you know if I like it or not. So far on my FF hate list is FFVIII, FFX and FFX-2. So far with the FFTA tie-ins the story seems to be developing well, it may all fall apart at the end though, I'll find out for myself.
