it'd be better if GMs sat at RMT controlled camps, like Mee Deggi, King Arthro, Ulli, Anything past Mythril door in SSG, then we can have some progress.Originally Posted by Kerberoz

Server side FRAPS at NM pops, like a security camera would be nice. They could see who's warp claiming.
Allow GMs to take player made screenshots and FRAPS as evidence. It seems the response to 80% of GM calls is "we have no proof, sorry".
Imo, this is just a publicity stunt for SE to stop as much people from quiting as they can. So many people have been quitting because of RMTs, new games, etc. Good job SE.
off topic but why fight cerb with a earth staff, he misses a shitton, and u can DD him just fine.... (unless your a LOLPLD, and then you were probably getting face fucked since u lack aegis)
I'm a little skeptical of how effective this "task force" will be.

Should read "Who are you, ma'am, I don't know where I am".
Not exactly sure where you got this info but his accuracy is not bad. The main reason why we employ Earth Stavves as our main weapon is because he has tendancy to quite fast. He is a bit unpredictable on when he will attack fast and when he won't. But, I believe he has the same resistance to debuffs as Tiamat does.Originally Posted by threevo
back on topic; I doubt this "Special Task Force United" will actually yield any results in the near future, provided people are still playing by then. While I will admit that the gil in curculation has significally dropped, there is still the matter of dealing with RMTs and bot-infested HNMLS.
Let's be honest, SE doesn't give a flying fuck about us when you're gladly handing over 13$ a month, and usually 16$ (main + 3 mules) so blindly. I mean, in the ToS, it does state "we reserve the right to ban anyone we see fit, without any prior notice whatsoever and require no proof at all." Why are GMs using the exact opposite when we quietly ask to ban said confirmed-CGFs and they reply with "unfortuntely, we have no proof that said player is in fact a CGF. We do thank you for your cooperation and will gladly look into the matter. Is there anything I can assist you with today?" That's some fucking automated message, not a coherent person.
What I find strange and coincidental is that SE decided to take action right when their playerbase started to dropped tremendously. So, does a BIG drop in playerbase = quick reaction and prompted response? If so, let a second wave drop and see fast these CGFs chars disappear. To put it bluntly, SE does not care about what we think. As long as we keep paying that lousy monthly fee, we're just another figure in their budget and sales target.
P.S. That GM is single-handedly the most stupid mother fucker alive claiming to be a GM. Then again, the bar for GMs is quite low, so I'm not that surprised...
Ya, just edit your registry so that its not running in a low-res box on your high-end PC and presumably, your high-end flat panel. Looks great once you're running in normal aspect ratios and native resolution on a flat panel.Originally Posted by Hyjynx

It's poorly coded and could run much smoother if it was actually written as a PC game and not a shitty PS2 port. </derail>
Well, I agree it could/should run better, but it doesn't look shitty for a 5 year old game, especially considering its a PS2 port. Honestly FFXI's graphics hold up incredibly well and do scale nicely with improvements to hardware.Originally Posted by Kerberoz
If you want to talk about a relatively new game that looks shitty and isn't a port....can just load up WoW.
I'm not trying to pick on you, Hyjynx, but pleas re-read what you said in response to the other guy's posts. If SE doesn't know what the problem is, then HOW THE FUCK ARE THEY ACTING TO RESOLVE IT? Common sense says that in order to resolve something, you need to realize that you have a problem and act accordingly. Your statement kinda contradicts itself.Originally Posted by Hyjynx
I'm not one to believe any story, especially one from SE after all these ridiculous claims, but action speaks louder than words. With all of these banning going on, I have yet to see a CGF actually that I know and I know quite a few in Kujata. Yet, everyday, they're still doing what they do best; fuck the players over and over again. So far, their actions have been heard quite well and I hope this "team" continues to do so...
Well they don't wanna ban legit players. Imagine them banning people just because they got reported. If you have some enemies on your server, or an entire LS report you cause they don't like you, you don't wanna get banned without proof.Originally Posted by Khalil
Don't think screenshots from players are a good idea. Then they'd risk false/doctored screenshots.
Doesn't stop them from banning WoA LS bank that was all made legitimately.Originally Posted by Valisk
They "suspended" the account for 3 months, Three months the account was frozen and paid for. Then they banned it on the reinstitution date.
He did Fleehack on that mule... Banning was way overkill but it wasn't random.Originally Posted by cassiraa

Sorry for off-topic, and I understand I may not know the whole story... But why the hell would you flee hack, knowing you could get banned, on a mule that holds all of your linkshell's currency of all places.
Seriously, was the walk to the delivery box just that unbearable?
