I'm not trying to pick on you, Hyjynx, but pleas re-read what you said in response to the other guy's posts. If SE doesn't know what the problem is, then HOW THE FUCK ARE THEY ACTING TO RESOLVE IT? Common sense says that in order to resolve something, you need to realize that you have a problem and act accordingly. Your statement kinda contradicts itself.

I'm not one to believe any story, especially one from SE after all these ridiculous claims, but action speaks louder than words. With all of these banning going on, I have yet to see a CGF actually that I know and I know quite a few in Kujata. Yet, everyday, they're still doing what they do best; fuck the players over and over again. So far, their actions have been heard quite well and I hope this "team" continues to do so...

I maintain my original statements.
Maybe I could more clearly convey what I mean by saying:
S-E doesn't know the problems we face as intimately as we do, simply because they don't actually play the game.
I don't mean they have no concept of what the problem is, but if they had direct daily contact with our environment, they'd be better equipped to address the situation.

I understand the situation is different on all servers and changes aren't as obvious on some as they are on others but like I said earlier: Seraph has seen a drastic drop in notorious gil sellers since the "mass bannings" have been taking place. So while I'm not putting all my faith in S-E's ability to address the problems effectively, I do have first hand experience of them actually having an impact however small.

This is why I'm not so ready to write off S-E's words.

To sum it up, I think the situation is a little more moderate than people like to think, as far as S-E actions are concerned. I do not think S-E is adept at handling the problems they are trying to tackle but at the same time I dont think they are simply just lying and secretly doing nothing.

That's a much different stance then your previous posts, Hyjynx. But I like it, you're being honest about you views. Like a lot of peeps have said before, these recent news have been very good PR for SE and I hope it continues to do so. But, this "task force" won't yield any incredible results. I'm so sure that I'm willing to bet this particular group of GMs banded up will just be like normal GMs.

I really couldn't agree more, SE really has mis-managed this entire ordeal and there is massive communication failures all across the board. I think even if SE is successful in removing every god forsaken RMT that they still won't change the fact its way to easy to monopolize shit with 3rd party programs if enough people use them.

Lordwafik, in your entire career of FFXI, have you done anything harmful to gilsellers, harmful enough to be considered a breach of the POS, like stealing or MPKing?

When I could, I would kill any gilsellers that would pull that shit off. Example, as a BST when they would camp over me and steal my nightmare bats that I release, I would leave scorpions all over the camp while I sneak up. Not technically MPK, but if you're trying to ask "if you did that you should be banned too" , no I didn't initiate shit like this, while they do.

PSU and WoW didn't cut it for me when I tried them out, I probably am going to move to nothing, and if this task force changes nothing, I'm going to pass FF12 either, not buying any more Square-Enix bullshit.

Did you get high enough to get into the pvp in WoW? That's what really got me hooked, and the improved system has me considering going back if the rmt and kings situations don't get improved or appear to be in the forseeable future.

I didn't get high lvl at all, I was still like in the 10~teens and it just felt like I was grinding all day long. PvP isn't something I really like, WoW isnt my kinda game

I love FF, it's an amazing game when there's no RMT, so I'd probably move onto nothing unless a bunch of friends get something.
