Ah, in that case, I know what I'm doing tomorrow. =P I'm at a point in the story where if I continue on I'll finish the game and will be unable to do other things, so as for right now I'm just making money/capping out LP/getting hot gear/doing all hunts (fuck espers). I don't think I'm going for super-ultra-rare bazaar synths... my DB/shields have never ever let me down, but what I might do is start putting Penelo and Ashe in good mage gear, and upgrading Vaan/Basch's gear/shields to some hot heavy stuff (which means going through some old dungeons again ugh).

I only did espers to get their bestiary information. Zodiark was the hugest waste of energy yet. Most ridiculous annoying fight in the game and a bitch to get to as well. Not even cool looking, he's a fucking fish.

I can't seem to get blizzard weather for Fafnir... its either snowing decently or no snow.. but never a blizzard and no pop.. spent 3 hrs straight zoning back and forth trying to get him to pop... Was camping Fafnir in FFXI at the same time lol.

Talk to the viera chick in buromisace then go out into the mountain and zone to the "head of the silverflow" zone, then the area south of it, then to the area karidine glacier or something, then into faf's zone. Follow that exact path.

ok, sorry again, I am confused here, so after I have killed the crocadile during wet season, I have to wait for Giza plains to dry up before I can give that ring to the chick the guy mumbles about? It kinda makes no sense that the guy says she is near/close or w/e but I have to progress on the story to have the place dry again, lol...

At what point is it worth it to continuasly upgrade gear?

It seems the closet elitist in me is coming out and I spend 2-3 hours a day just grinding/farming.

My question, who should I give summonings to? I just got Belias, and I gave it to Vaan. My main party is Balthier,Vaan, and Ashe. I switch in lolPanelo and Basch to SC.

i think alot of people here are in agreement most of the espers are just for fun/pretty effects.. and their overall usefulness is pretty limited

i only have 4 espers atm, gave belias to ashe(my main tank), mateus to fran (my mage/ranged attacker).. and exodus / andrommelech i've yet to distribute

someone did mention that having espers slightly increases MP.. if thats true might as well stick some on your more mage characters...

Espers boost your mp the same way as quickenings. but never more than a third charge. Buy one quick/esper your mp remains the same and equals a single mist charge, buy a second quick/esper and your mp doubles, equaling 2 mist charges, buy a third quick/esper and you get another mist charge: your original MP stacked upon what you have from the second, in other words triple your base.

Heh, I was just about to ask about the Golden Amulet. Can I just stick this thing on Penelo in the backline and everyone gets double LP or does only the character who has the Amulet equipped get double LP?

amulet only works on the person equipping it. as for dead people, I don't know. It would work if they get LP while dead, but I don't know if thats true or not. I'd assume not.

Where is the Vyraal worm? I'm not sure if I've killed it, but if I have can it be popped again for the dragon scale for the hell wyrm quest?

Vyraal is in the Cerobi Steppe, if you just go eastish as you come out of Balfonheim through two maps your at the windmills where Vyraal spawns / where the old guy you trade the scale for the key for is at. Dunno if you can repop it, but isnt the dragon scale a key item anyway?

I think if you have the hunt it's just there..if not then yeah the other wyrms are PHs..when I did that mission Vyraal was already up for me, and i had issues hitting flying stuff so I couldn't have killed the other wyrms or whatever is around there so I don't think it has a PH tbh. But if it does yeah its those flying things.
