ok how the FUCK do you get it to stop raining in Giza village? lol. I've zoned in and out over 60 times. I went back to Rabanastre and talked to the Imperial guy, he always says "the rain came sooner than expected". I found some stuff that said to wait 5 minutes in southgate then go back, but nothing. I even tried to go do another totally different hunt, then come back. It's still raining. What's retarded as hell is that about 20% of the time it will be dry when zoning and rezoning, but never in the outpost area. Only in the areas with enemies. Is there a trick to this, or is it just fucking retarded?
With crap like that I always leave the whole region and try again. I leave Rabanastre with the gate crystal then come back and try again.
if you mean having Giza in "The Dry" versus "The Rains" I believe its based on either your playtime or your spot in the storyline. You can zone in and out all you want, it probably won't change anything. And if you look out south gate, you can tell when its the dry or the rains by how it looks outside.
When I'm in Southgate, the sky looks totally blue and clear. But when I zone into Giza, it's rainy.
look at the ground from the south gate view to Giza Plains. It'll be cloudy and have water on the ground if it's raining.
Just in case you're at this particular spot in the game, I don't believe it goes back to alternating between Rains and Dry until you reach Mt. Bur-Omisace. And when you're zoning back and forth, I hope you do the Plaza to/from Southgate method. Zoning between Southgate and Giza does not change the weather. Check the Giza ground shown in the horizon when in Southgate to see if it's Rains or Dry, like people have said.
This might be a retarded question but I need to know >_>
How can I remove reflect I can't cure for shit and its driving me nuts.
dispel
won't work I got no effect
you're doing it wrong!
Dispel is how you remove reflect, it's the only way!
The part I'm at is after I just got the Dawn Shard and the first Esper and defeated Boss X on the airship and returned to Rabanastre. I'll try some more when I get home tonight. Is 18-19 a high enough level to kill the Cluckatrice thing? Rocktoise was a bitch, and I barely managed to pull it off at that level.Originally Posted by Jayhawk
The weather's gonna remain the same for you for a while iirc. Beginning of the game it's dry, then after a point it becomes rains, then later it can alternate.
cluckatrice might be hard, simply because theres 3 chicks running around too. I'd wait til 25 or so for best effect. But either way, it will probably be raining when you get there, and you'll have to wait until after Shrine of Miriam / bur Omicase
Check to see if you're wearing the Reflect Ring or the armor that gives Reflect. Can't dispel equipment status.Originally Posted by Haiko
How do you get access back to Garamsythe Waterway? All of the paths are blocked with water, and I have 2 marks in there ;;
If you haven't changed the water level at all, you should be able to enter normally. You go into the Overflow Cloaca (the area where you kill the Dire Rats at the beginning) and there's a winding path you can take that'll weave back and forth. Alternatively, depending on your equipment and level, if you still can't figure it out, you can enter the Waterways from the Barheim Passage. The zone is past the room you fight the Zelara in. It will put you right next to a save crystal, 1 room away from Orthos and 2 rooms away from White Mousse.
