When should I get quickenings? I just got back to Dalmasca Westersand after getting my full party finally. They all are around level 12-13. Don't know if I missed something or not.

How many zones away do you have to be to respawn chests?

I'm trying to spawn Ithuno again, but there've been no chests there for like the past 5 tries. I've been going 2 zones away each time (i think, the upper passage >> sector 5), and I heard somewhere in this thread that someone was zoning 3 times? I probably just have bad luck.

I run to zone with orange xtal, and zone north 1 more time, then I go back.

If you've killed it, it won't respawn. You should steal from it, zone twice, come back, steal from it, zone twice, come back, steal from it. Got 3 deathbringers in 15 minutes like that.

i got a 2nd noob question :

when u do the enkelados hunt, they ask you to kill all the Wu to pop in in the Shred, what is a damn shred and where its that, cant find it, and when i look on the meaning of shred i get someting strange w/o meaning.

for 1800dmg gekko on kirin : 300tp, SA gekko, Double Attack from brutal, brd str buff, no food, dont know about dia and choke since it was right when he poped. i did the same 1800 the day after on sieryu, maybe 1800 is dmg cap w/o amamo

The Shred is a zone on the map, look at your map and use the D-pad to highlight different zones. Every zone in the game has a name.

theres also 2 rare spawn mobs in that zone, when i did it i got both of them to pop from clearing it as well as enkelados. was interesting.

Where the hell can I buy ethers from? secret shop in Nabudis doesn't sell any after you complete Giruvegan (what a shithole). Don't tell me I'm gonna have to revert to hunting items and opening it in bazaars ;[

I think I bought my first ethers there post-Giruvegan somehow. Open up Pharos at Ridorana and go back, I guess.

For sure they have them (and Scathe!) once you finish Pharos at Ridorana.

Can you complete hunts after killing the final boss, ala plus file or something? Or do you have to like, make a seperate save before you do whatever you have to do for the final encounters. My playtime is getting up there, so i think im getting to that point.

demosthenes the barheim key is obtained through the quest series with the estersand outpost guy and his wife in the south bank village after the flowering cactoid hunt.

celeras there's no game over file, so keep one from before the last fight.

Not sure if this was asked already, but is there like a list of what rank you get you get for doing what? I'm still rear gaurd and I have like 300k points >>

If you talk to Makenroh the NuMou in the clan hall he'll tell you what you need to do to achieve the next rank. If you already have a crapload of points just start finishing hunts. You always need points+hunts finished to rank up.

Also, is there a way to walk back into henne mines? Or after you beat the part, can you just walk in without a choco

Need a chocobo or you can use the gate crystal. There's an entrance from the Feywood but as far as I know it's a solid dead end.
