also.. say you have 0 quickenings, but unlock an esper that requires 3 mist charges to summon... once you get that summon, you'll have 3 mist charges, effectively tripling your mp in the process just like quickenings

Instead of giving one of my characters their first quickening, I gave it to someone else(for their second) because they already had an esper. And according to someone on the BG forums, if i waited till I got my second esper and gave it to the person with the first.. their MP would double just like the quickenings!

also.. i dont think you understood what i said... if your second esper you gave your character costs more Mist Charges than you currently have, the game will give you enough Mist Charges to summon that esper.. i didnt say if you have 2 lvl 1 espers you will get 2 mist charges

EDIT: you gave your character an esper before they had a quickening... and you're able to summon it correct? thats exactly the same scenario but applying it to level 2+ espers

lol wow. It's not a big deal though celeras, get your double lp amulets and spend an hour in either lhushu (still get lp if you are overleveled), ozmone>jungle circle, or even the top of the snowy path near mt burominscae, undead mobs pop and some birds and trolls and crap that have 2lp each. An hour an anyplace is like 200+ LP and you can get all 3 quickenings for everyone pretty easy. I just spent 500 of balthiers 2400LP lol.

What's the deal/story with the sauron in Eastersand? When I first started the game it was level 20~21, and canablizing wolves. I just went back to the zone last night trying to pop Limbur Wolf (go to Westersand, I was in the wrong area), and saw the sauron still eating wolves, and now he's up around level 51.

To find Gilgamesh for the second battle you need to do the Antlion hunt then go to Phon coast and pick up the Site 11 key.

tried queklain with my lv34 party.... got it soooooooooo close!

had one guy with a DB on zerk/bravery/haste spam away on him, another guy spam cura and esuna, and another guy spam cura and warp.... got it to about 40% and cura couldn't keep up any more, so switch them out one by one to the other 3 with full mp and start quickening combo, got an ark blast off to get it to about 15% then damage a bit, wiped, switch to original party, feed the lowest max mp guy with a bunch of ether and start quickening again, windburst and got it to like 3% and wiped (cryyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

I lost track of the sap and almost died but a zerk+haste fran can basically kill anything.

On the other hand, right before Queklain, i went for Zalera, and omg that fight is a joke, completely pwninated her. easy

I felt bad after killing zalera because he had a kinda sad death sequence. Meanwhile, when you summon him you can cast death on him and it sticks. Seemed odd to be able to death a guy who spams death.

Well, finally got through Lhusu mines and beat Nidhogg (he was easy) and then Rocktoise (fucker was annoying and hit like a macktruck), then finally got even with Cluckatrice~! I was so excited about my victories that I forgot to save, and went and tried my revenge on Barney (the saur in westersand)...I should have done Libra at start of fight...woulda noticed he was in his powered-up mode at lvl 53 or something shitty like that..I got owned and was not able to escape...sigh...all that work down the drain /wrists
