I have a good question and maybe someone knows. I kept mirror armor and the ruby ring in my inventory for those fights that are just magic spam or debuffs on me. Well it seems like reflect is broken because even with the armor on I will still take damage from a ga spell (elemental type) even if its only 30 points. Is there a threshold that this stuff wont work? Also the mobs reflect works well since I wiped my whole party with a scath that was reflected for a grand total of 16k hp gone

Same thing happened to me, i think so spells just go through. I used reflect on all my characters when i fought the Lightning Esper in Zertanian(sp) caverns. The mobs around him helped alot becuase their spam magic just got reflected back onto the avatar, but like half of the avatars attacks got through, and a few of the undead's as well. I think it goes like this:

Reflect has a high percantage to negate damage and reflect back to user, not 100%. Doesnt work for any magic based attack, just pure magic.

So after going out and playing the entire game pretty much with the thing that gives you double LP on, I've "unlocked" the entire board for most people.

Meaning, I can see everything on the boards for every person but don't have them all unlocked for use.

Anyway my question is this:

If you have your board this way and get a new esper, where does it go? All my spaces are filled for every character, so I'm scared that I fucked up my esper availability because I did this...

Espers always appear in a spot that didn't exist before. There are at least 2 that bridge the gap from the top half to the bottom half. So yeah, you're fine.

Float lets you walk over traps, and Bubble doubles your max HP.

Theres a key item you get from doing a quest that starts in Rabanastre. Theres a Bangaa at the westgate standing next to a bag the starts it off. It isn't difficult, it eventually leads to an optional boss//shortcut from westerland to esterland and a drop which I don't think I've done anything with yet.

I imagine it can be done pretty early on because the boss was wimpy.

I never use bubble belt ;o i always have on golden amulet ;o lol, i just have Bubble set to cast 24/7 in Gambit lol

I use the belt so I don't have to recast the spell if someone dies. Usually I have basch/Ashe in the bubble and Fran using genji glove with masamune, but in a really rough spot (HENNE MINES HARDSIDE FUCKYOU GHOSTS SHIT ZODIARK EAT A DICK) she gets bubble belt. Just sucks to have to sacrifice gauntlet (ashe/basch) or genji glove. Certain fights are a choice as I'm fighting it. Hell Wyrm I had Fran using genji glove with the spell bubble but kept basch/ashe in the belt since they don't have very strong fighting accessories anyway and stopga on judgment wasn't too troublesome with the characters standing apart. Zodiark they all wore the belt though because darkja has random death effect so I didn't want to spend mp on bubble.

For Darkja: Why not just use Black Cowl? Absorbs Dark damage.

Doesn't matter still causes death on occasion (regularly)

I had basch and Ashe in demon shields and Fran in the black cowl or mask or w/e and death was common.

Anyone mind marking the panther route? Because I'm only getting chain 26 on the ones from the entrance (running back and forth and they dont pop back =( )
