The best endgame gear and where to find it

As far as the better light armor goes
Regen Morions can be bought in the southern section of Rabanastre Downtown after the events at Pharos.

Mirage vest is stolen from an NM in Lhusu mines (#73) Supposed to appear randomly north of No.6 mines.

Duel Mask is a treasure in Pharos. 35th Floor in the first area, and BF3 in the underground part.

Brave Suit is a treasure in Crystal Grande and Henne mines.

As far as which is the best, idk. Brave suit has auto brave, but mirage vest has more def, as well as 800 hp 10 spd 10 vit.

Duel mask has more hp than Regen Morion, Morion has auto regen.

I'd really like to know where some better armor is. Going to head to farm/exp/huntDanjuroNM in Giruvegen upper part of Crystal Grande (the necrophobia there are 2.5k exp a kill, divide at times and pretty easy) to try for dagger and zodiac etsucheon but I have no idea where to head for best light armor for instance, using Maximillian/Magepower Shiki helm on all 3 char's atm lol

Go to Barheim Passage, that's where i got my Zodiac Etsucheon. Go to West Annex where all the undead mobs are, and go and save where the crystal is to the west of that area.
Near the Northern half of West Annex, on the SE wall is a little tunnel with 3 or 4 traps in it, and at the end is a chest which sometimes has Zodiac Etsucheon (if you have Diamond Amulet equiped). If the chest doesn't pop or you don't get the shield, just restart the game and try again.

My question about chests is if you pop the chest and say its a knot of rust and dont restart but head back later on say 80 hrs later and the chest is there, is there still a chance for the item? Nice run on huh

I think so, but some chests maybe not? I know when I did Bloodwing I ran into the chest Cheapsamurai was talking about for the shield and didn't get the shield but I just went in and after a few tries got it (thanks Chaosnub!)

Going to go look for that new light armor then, might want to get a dagger instead of this deathbringer I'm still using before equipping it, though. Currently I'm on floor 25 in Pharos and not sure how to enable the bridges to the chests. Only some of the stone things were targetable and I killed all of them omw but the chest at floor 25 doesn't have a single piece to the bridge here.

Anyone gone to hunt for the Danjuro NM? Only info I have is to chain the necropholia high, 20+ I read, and it'll spawn somewhere between way gate XIII and XIV...yeah np there only like 8ish rooms and a few gates between those...with a few rooms having non-necropholia mobs in them, I've only survived to see like half of them, lol.

Just did the treasure chest on 35F. Got a Muramasa or whatever the DMG:84Gkat is. Should I reset and retry or will the chest spawn again with another chance at the duelist hat?

So while on my way to Gilg fight 2 I encountered Disma, who at 5% hp wiped my main party with darkga (wasn't wearing bubble belts at the time, I was doing ok for the most part without).

It opened up for me after Draklor laboratory, in the Muthru Bazaar in Rabanastre. If it depends on clan rank i was pretty high at the time, Knight of the Round i think.

i found the chest in crystal grande for excallibur but got some stupid item like hi pot, i zoned 2 times went back and the chest was there again but got 2 gil...

zoned 3 times just to be sure and the chest wouldnt repop

is it gone now if i dont reset or if i go back later on will i still have chance at excal?

danjuro is fucking EVIL so i went to the great crystal upper around level 71's i'm 0/5 on danjuro dropping from the NM and i am now level 85... this sucks balls.

so far every time he has popped near 200 chain ; ;

do i have to zone 2 zones away from the teleporter? or is going back and forth to the zones adjacent to it and killing their ghost things work as well?

where do i get lordly robes?

according to the brady guide (as much as that's worth) they are from a chest in pharos... but i havn't seen it yet... and the book doesn't have chest points for the lower part of the pharos ; ;

I'm not sure if zoning two zones away from where the NM pops matters. But it seems to like high chains in a single zone more than simply high chains. I got him to pop at 150ish and then recently 105 by high chaining in the same zone for a fair bit (30ish in a single zone before moving to another). The way I do it is high chain in a room for 30ish mobs, run through spawn to see if it's up, then zone two zones over without fighting and come back into to a zone adjacent to NM spawn and high chain again and repeat. So far I'm 0/9 and getting really annoyed by it. Haven't been playing much because of it. My main crew has gone 76-97 and my backline has gone from 11-47 camping this guy.
