movie looks fucking amazing, can't wait.

Did you ever watch Dungeon&Dragon movie? I'm usually a fan of fantastic book/story, but since that movie, I would rather stay away from any low budget theater adaption of the genre DnD movie was so terible it was funny. The only good part was when they killed the "comic" relief in the middle of the movie...oh, and that that was a spoilers I guess >_>.


I never heard about that book series before, but after reading the Wiki, it just seem like a cliché fantastic story.

Ive read the books.

It was good for what it was: pure fictional entertainment

not much more. Nothing incredibly deep. Somewhat like a harry potter with dragons and swords n shit: just meant to entertain. You shouldnt really look to it for anything with high literary signifigance, but if you are into fantasy novels id reccomend it just for a light and entertainding read.

personally ill be waiting to see the movie.

Agree, they were good and entertaining, but certainly not an epic or "best ever" series. I'm looking forward to the movie and 3rd book, but they won't be RotK's second coming.
