And lastly, how do you think an entire naval battle group could get lost? The military has GPS systems not available to the public that are accurate to within inches...

Did you just google all that, or did you actually know all that off the top of your head? If so, I'm impressed.

if he is in the Navy he probably knows all that (it's part of testing to get higher rank so knowing that stuff in the navy is benefical)

I think it's pretty obvious it's fake even without knowing all that. Still funny I think though.

While the transcript is probably fake, the Lincoln was commissioned on the EAST coast and was there for perhaps 1-3 years before it was moved to the Pacific fleet. I know this because I was in the Navy at the time it was moving from East -> West coast and was contemplating being assigned to it so I could be closer to my family on the West coast.
