Not to derail, but this game needs alot more status-effect enemies. Too much is focused on raw power/damage moves. More Malboro NMs, perhaps ToAU style with draw-in would be a great challenge. And make items like this useful.

If they made AoE versions of the status cures sure, but as it is now there's enough people that scoff at the notion of mages spending the 8mp on Blindna after a Hurricane Wing.

There's quite a few lethal status effects that make some fights challenging, but more often than not they're just annoyances that are even more annoying when mages are too lazy to remove them (hi2u Tebbad Wing).....

People don't arbitrarily scoff at mages removing statuses from melees and tanks, but once again you've managed to abandon any form of introspection and take our (TG's) criticisms out of context.

Quick note for someone who has a Dalmatica abjuration sitting in their safe: Blindna is 16 MP.

I'm sure you think BG, TG and so on are Ryko's cronies who are the very spit from his mouth, hanging onto his coat tails and generally emulating his every action, especially in regards to yourself. Truth is, you simply can't see past your own nose when it comes to yourself. You have some good ideas (and some very bad ideas) and you run a decent ship with ED but your overt item-whoring and self-centered behavior are particularly grating, even from a third person perspective.

You apply absolutely zero proactive measures as your THF in Aery. As a matter of fact, apparently you are owed haste, bard songs, and first priority blindna. For someone with a level 100+3 craft, a LS bank, and HQ gear flowing out of your pores, you mean to tell me you can't afford to bring eye drops? One less headache if you're undermanned on mages, WHM and /WHM alike. Of course this will never happen with your droves of WHMs and BRDs.

How can you expect mages to remain at your beck and call at Tiamat, removing virus from Tebbad Wing, when you feel you can't even be bothered to bring something as fundamental as eye drops to Aery? You place way more emphasis on your importance than need be. As a DD you are respectable and produce decent numbers, but your impact is no more significant than any other DD who is well-geared with a sense of the SC chart. As a tank you seem compelled by hare-brained and ephemeral ideas at the expense of playtime from your regular tanks and to your alliance in general. I highly doubt anyone in your shell could pipe up and call you a fucking dumbass without getting booted though. Cest la vie.

I was saving up for a flawless ribbon, but I think I have decided against it. I think the resist rate is too low to justify the cost.

I also have about 70 coins right now. No point in selling them off. I've watched them go from 1 mil each to 20K each on my server. I'm hoping they will add more gear to the list so I have something worthy to spend them on or the price of coins goes back up.

I think the original person might of been looking at "no effect", but I've had this thing since a month or two after limbus came out. I guess it is nice if your looking for a resist dark or resist light build. But the killer effect rate is really really really low, and from about 15 merits from goobue I might have had 10 resists as bst/nin.

Of course I'm sure on alla and KI there are tons of people who think this thing cures the plague.
