I went to my friends house the other night and saw Gears of War being played in HD. Holy crap it looks amazing. I heard it was only about 8-10 hours long, but still, it's hard as crap on easy mode.

again, i really dont know why it matters how long single player mode is on a shooter game. It's all about online play. I wouldn't be able to have an xbox if it wasn't for Live, shooters/fps/pretty much anything but rpg's bore the hell out of me unless i'm online talking to someone and killing them.

Ahh, I meant to Add that it was fun as hell on multiplayer and online play but I was half asleep when I wrote that post. You're totally correct.

sooooooooooooooo has anyone noticed gow online getting gayer and gayer? Not to be racist or anything, but everytime i join an online match the only fucking talk i hear is fucking ebonics... its the most aggravating thing i think i've ever heard. I dont even think halo2 got to me this much.

At least on madden06 the worst i'd have to deal with is that 12year old from guam that somehow always tried to play me and had the most annoying pre-pubescent voice i've ever heard... but it seems that that is what makes up the entire gow online population... 10-15year olds speaking in solid nonstop ebonics and screaming nigger and shit over and over.

The Hammer, and Torque Bow for that matter are not good at all in multiplayer as they take too much time.
And Grenade tagging is my favorite thing to do in the whole game, god I love it. I need to start playing ranked so I can get that achievment.
As far as the idiots and thugs dude. I have made a group of friends and unless it is ranked I only play with them, as to avoid that stupid banter.

That was pretty sweet. Not something you see often, usually shotty is better for that. Killing someone that tags you with a shotty before you die is very easy and possible.
