FYI, only Nintendo doesn't sell consoles at a loss, M$ and Sony do, Xbox, 360, PSP, PS3 all sell at loss. K thanks.

Its pretty much why Nintendo doesn't have to -win- a generation to still have a profitable one, and why they aren't going out of business anytime soon.

N64 and Cube weren't sold at a loss, even if they make $1 per unit sale it's still profits, no company goes bust making profits.

And they make good 1st party games which sells a lot. Ocarina of Time sold N64s.
I can't say about any other games, but as long as they keep making Zelda, people would buy a Nintendo console just to play it.

I think yes, because then they'd have the money and resources to focus on 1 thing instead of 2.

Actually paying your employee's is under liabilities, you should go look at a accountants general ledger sometime. Your profits also have to pay for R&D so you can keep making your company money right? All i'm saying is portable is a huge part of nintendo profits.

You go out of business when you don't make enough profit. Or you change the way you do business by selling 20 different portable systems.

You sell the system for 1k to break even and some people buy it.

You sell the system for 600 and you lose 400 per system and MORE people buy it.

Then people buy games and you make a ton of money.

In the long run, the more people who have your system, the more money you make. So you just get the system in as many households as you can.

Soulvoice Minuet, Mad, Warrior's Charge, 300% tp, berserk, warcry, Mighty Strikes. Forget the gear, mix of str and vit.

I dunno, it doesn't seem like that high of a Steel Cyclone, but I've only fought Hydra once so its all I have to go on.
