I want to describe in detail how much I love this clip of video. I mean the beginning is funny, but it's the end that gets me everytime. I have not been able not to laugh at it. It's like, not only the transformation he goes through(crying/over-emotional into evil/bat-shit crazy/mad scientist), but just ... it's flawless.

Like he is this boy who has been playing one big game of lies and such until he can find his ultimate weapon, the Blastoise, and now nothing is in his way. He now is the most powerful being on the planet and he gives an evil laugh and stare at the camera because the people watching have no idea how much shit they are in now.

It's reminds me of the part of Death Note where After losing his memories for a long period of time and becoming good, Raito/Light touches the Death Note again and becomes instantly evil and feels so victorious.

Why is this kid so excited? I was once in to the cards back in the day for a short time, and I had several of them, including two holographic versions.

Yes they do lol. If you go to Toys R Us here on Saturday mornings there is a section still roped off for Pokemon and Yu gi oh card tornaments. I took my daughter about 3 weeks ago and I had the same "WTF!? Pokemon?" reaction you did. There were ALOT of kids there playing.
