semi necro, killed it today, wind crystal only dropped, but learned a few things i couldnt get from this thread that might help some others.

We camped on the ledge that the bridge connects to overlooking Hapool Jas spawn area. You need to walk up the ramp behind him and follow it around. The mages can sit by the little bush that is there, and the tanks/whoever can stand by the start of the bridge. No mobs wander around here so you shouldnt get any aggro.

I found it was really helpful to pull him right after he casts Ichi/Ni, this gives you atleast a minute it seemed before he casted another spell and spawned his helpers. You can just range him from on the ledge.

If you have enough people, just zerg the shit out of it, it has shit for HP and can easily be killed in 1-2minutes. If not, the BLMs need to ga down the helpers ASAP because they mijin like crazy and it hurts. I was tanking on ninja with 161 fire resist before carol/bar, was using a whm with no merits /af2 legs tho so i only hit 287 instead of the usual 320~ i get on tiamat.

Killed it last week, latent seems to only be 1.25% attack bonus when any (1 to 4) shadows are up. I updated the wiki with all info I could think of.
We fought on that corner platform as well, got the katana on the 2nd kill.
