Some of the arcade style games require friends to make them truly fun (like 4 players D&D: Shadows of Mystara). Capcom isn't immune to making some pretty mediocre games but I dont think any other publisher can have that many impressive games in their portfolio. Say what you will about the numerous iterations of each games (most are actually good).
maybe not you Megaman Battlenetwork #14 but they do a fair share of risk taking as well, especially with Okami (sold poorly).

Well MS did buy Mistwalker pretty much and that was a big part of the original FF crew from Square. Microsoft is trying to buy their way into supremacy. If they buy Capcom things will get interesting, doubt they will sell out to MS though.

There is a difference between funding and buying. I don't think X-box bought Mistwalker more than Mistalker needed money to start making game. Mistwalker so far worth 0$ since it never produced/sold anything.



I don't think Capcom is stupid enough to sell to microsoft. Limiting yourself to one console, when you're selling millions of game can't be good. I can understand how it's good for small studio, but not something big like SE or Capcom

They just put out Viva Pinata, which so far has been getting really good reviews.

Downloaded the 800mb demo on my 360 and I can tell you, if the game is anything like the demo, it's going to be complete shit... I dunno though if the demo is completely like the game or not.

Capcom is seriously one of the best game companies there has ever been. You call them a sell out for rereleasing the game that brought "Survival Horror" on the map, you are way off base.
If anything they are sell outs if they go to MS, but even then, more power to MS i suppose, even though that would suck.
