8 made me vommit in my mouth a little it was so stupid. After I saw that retarded shit in space I couldn't even play anymore, lol. That's the only FF game I never beat.

Yea but it wasn't stupid in 4. The only reason space even existed in 8 was so they could have that stupid fucking love scene which served no real purpose whatsoever. It's just like "hay guys let's build the rest of the story around a really romantic love scene. ok we need a setting first. Space! awesome, so there's a love scene in space, but how does space fit into this game? It doesn't? Well make it fit!"

Oh right, another problem. Why is it when I go to do hunts for the current spot im at in game the mobs are lvl 65+, yet when I go to do the story line shit theyre lvl 45. Gee, if I get through the hunt I'm going to be way too high lvl for the storyline part. They should have made storyline stuff higher level so it doesnt die in 2 hits.

Back on topic. This is my favorite Final Fantasy since IV. And Balthier is the most badass character since Kain.
It also has my favorite rendition of the classic "Final Fantasy" theme. You know, the second song that plays in the intro before the title screen. Btw, I have never found it, but is that song in XI anywhere?
I finally played for a shitload last night after a couple days off and I 1-shotted Ghis lol with a quickening chain or w/e. I was like "shit" since I wanted to steal from him lol.
But yea this game owns, and those poll choices fail.

And the final final boss was just retarded. They build up Kuja through the entire thing, then you kill him;

What I want to know is how the game is so gambit easy. I think you forget, like the moron you are, how many FF games can be broken, once you find the right combination. Also if gambits make it easy, well shit don't use them. I'll also like to add that you are bullshitting. I guarfuckingantee that you little ass has not even beaten the game yet. You plowed through it with cruise control? What I forgot that part where they gave you gambits, spells and licenses slowly. Regardless of if you have them on the LB or not you cannot use the shit. The closes argument you have is "i got this armor and weapon super early, and I was badass when I got it.
You are a shitty fucking liar if you think you can set the controller down and walk away from most of the boss fights in this game. Unless of course you already grinded the shit out of the game and your levels are super high for no reason. Which can be done in every fucking rpg on the planet. Wait... you hit the nail on the head (as far as I'm concerned :P). That mystery last boss quoted yoda too which almost made me throw my controller out the window. However, I love ff9's main theme song.


Anyway Po you're damn right about the FF theme. Sweet jesus I still get goosebumps watching the title screen video, and yeah this game does probably have my favorite full cast of characters, there's no weak spot. Basch is my favorite character since squall and to me he stacks up with Kain as the ultimate side character in the storyline.

But yeah, I can't quite believe it, but I actually like this game better than VI. Its just so damn good. It has balthier man, balthier. It has some of the absolute best dialogue I've ever seen, the localization is just unreal. All the characters are honestly more 'real' than old ones. They feel real. Larsa is an amazingly full character. The gambit system is just perfect, taking out the annoyances and leaving the epicness. It has an actual good optional endgame after you beat the boss, instead of just like 2 optional bosses and maybe 1 dungeon if you're lucky there are a TON of optional bosses and 5 expanded, difficult dungeons. This game is just way too fucking good...

Dude... it's called Final Fantasy. Look at any OST of a game. Or one of the compilations, and it's called Final Fantasy. Prelude and Prologue or w/e is that soft song that plays in opening credits. This is faster and way more jammin'.
