Everytime I come onto to BG, and there is something wrong with Sony theres a thread created for it and ridiculed to the rafters for it and always end with OMFG I want Zelda.

For me Zelda = retarded (yeah I said it)
I never enjoyed it, tried to play windwaker and other titles but they weren't my cup of tea

Not everyone has to know in every other thread that you are buying Zelda and Wii

PS3 earns a lot of the stuff it gets. Even if you are a hardcore Sony fan, they have done a lot to cause controversy, while Wii is acting very optimistic and has not given anything near that amount of bad news. Personally, I find Reggie to be the hypocritical person in all of the videogame industry. I'm practically ignore Nintendo's statements because of him, but I'm still interested in the Wii and it's games. So, don't say stuff like Sony being too cocky, both Nintendo and Microsoft seriously need to get their heads out of their asses... though, Moore doesn't seem to be as bad as the other two these days.

My point is, don't be a fanboy. And if you can't do that, don't make a goddamn thread about a tiny issue that will be fixed in such a sort time and even then is small if it takes a little longer. When PS3s start exploding, then you have something to complain about.

People should be free to mention how much they like the Wii and Zelda. This shouldn't really upset anyone. But saying something "this sucks", you are going out of your way to disagree with someone. Saying "Zelda sucks" is just starting a war over nothing. Have your opinion on something, but know when to speak it. Otherwise, you are just wearing a big sign on you that says "Hey guys, I'm biased as fuck".

It's funny that none of us who enjoy Sony merchandise/items, are bringing up miniscule thing and makeing them huge stories.

Nintendo is so cheap that they can't give a DVD player ($20 extra) with there system or the fact that Nintendo itself has said that you have to wait till next year (generation) Wii to have the DVD player installed on it, and rebuy it LOL


So yes all gaming companies have hiccups, just wait till end of 2007 and we will see who will be top/laughing the hardest

Ignoring DVD playback is a dumb marketing move for a company that wants to expand gaming to adults. Many, many people have used the PS2(and others) as a DVD player. For example a mother who's son told her how to use it. And it spreads like that. Why get a DVD player when you can get one that can also play videogames. Thank god they are not doing that...

and some parents are cheap so 98$ DVD player > over a 600$ of Wasted money that can be invested in other things.

I play PS1 games on my PS2 more than I play PS2 games on it lately. And Lawls, one of the few ways to get a PS1 anymore is to buy it used, so alot of them would probably be very broken.

Best part about this entire incoming console war was picking up a PS2 for 115 bucks since alot of stores are clearing out their stock of the old consoles (sold my old one over a year ago to cover rent once ).

I'm not really planning on picking up either anytime soon, the launch titles don't seem all that great for either (Zelda yeah, but I have FF12/NWN 2/FF III/etc to plow thru still). Sadly the only game coming out for any of the consoles that really appeals to me is on PS3 (Virtua Fighter 5, /droooooooooooooool), but maybe by the time it comes out PS3 will be at a decent price.

I'm in this boat. I really wanted Wii for Zelda, but I also wanted it to play Wii tennis with my best friend that lives in NJ, and you can't do that on day one. That was a huuuuge let down for me, but I still want Zelda.

But I also really want a PS3. I think it looks like a definitely decent system with good games coming out, but there isn't anything coming out at launch on day one that could possibly sell me the system. When the games that I want for it start coming out, and the price hopefully drops, I'll definitely get one.

Ya i'd love to get a PS3 myself..... but i have bills to pay now. If i was still living at home i would buy it as soon as i could(wouldn't camp out for it though lol).

For me i'd take the PS3 over the Wii and Xbox360 because personally i like RPG's a lot more than any other genre. And the playstation usually has the best RPG's compared to the rest.
