PS3 Fails

Yes, Halo and Halo 2 are good in most people's eyes, but there are still (according to game rankings) 7 games between it and OoT. I only referenced gamerankings.com since it has been used over and over again.
Long story short, a new Zelda game releasing is a lot bigger than a new Halo game. Let alone it being a launch title or not.
It is ignorant to say that they are on the same wavelength as far as being a series in the world of gaming. Halo could not hold Zelda's jockstrap.

I give up. Just try to remember there are things called opinions. And those things are still opinions even if you take a bunch of them and put them together. Most videogamers don't look at games in a true, professional critical way. Especially videogamers. Read a hardcore FFXI's players opinion on WoW or vice versa to get a good example of that. If I were to say that anyone's opinion who disagrees with Halo 2 > Zelda was crap, you linking Gamerankings.com just shows me a bunch of crap.

Personally, I've never been to the site, so why would it even matter to my opinion, since I'm not being represented anyway. Instead of showing me some poll, show me a "hundred percent" worth of essays describing the game. Even then, a personal opinion holds more importance, as long it's in reason(people usually set up rules like... bad glitches are bad and good storyline is good, ect).

When it comes down to it, polls and number systems(1-5, 1-10) to rate games are nothing more than statistics made on the spot, which like all statistics are usually full of bullshit.

MSNBC has a link on their front page to an article where they pulled in a mix of kids/casual/hardcore gamers and had them play the Wii and the PS3. From the article, there were several times during the session where the PS3 was left completely alone in its room (and it was hooked to a huge hi-def big screen) while the whole group of playtesters crammed into the room with the Wii. Apparently the PS3 isn't as much fun to play as the Wii.

With 3/4th of the people who bought a PS3 yesterday, they were all going to resell it.

Think about how many PS3s will be on sale on Ebay, youll be lucky to get your money back.. but im sure there may be a few buys over $1k.

If you wait till Chirstmas, the prices may go up, but then again, people may have the same idea you have and once againthe price would be lowered. Also, whos to say Sony wont come out of no where with 2m units to sell in NA?

There were allegedly 32,000 PS3s up for sale on Ebay this morning! I'd wait until christmas to put one up, since there might still be a shortage at that time.

Yeah, what he said. More processing power doesn't make a game better. According to the reviews of the PS3 Gundam game, it doesn't even make it run faster (nothing can overcome the power of horrible coding).

Some games made after 2002 are average, but that's not saying much.

Well the .hack// games were pretty good, but other than that I'm kind of stuck.

A lot of the DBZ games are pretty average, and I remember playing one decent digimon game, through I can't remember which it was. The .Hack(both series) was/is obviously their best franchise. They make mostly anime games which range from bad to average/forgettable.
