Divisor, I believe you made a misinterpretation. From the way I read it, it says "On your sixth kill you have a chance to reach Chain Level 1". We both agree on that, but the next table says "Six kills since level up" which to me indicates six kills AFTER the kill in which you changed levels, and as a result meaning the fastest you will reach Chain Level 2 is on Chain 12, not Chain 11. By extension Chain Level 3 can occur only as early as Chain 18.

But I've got one more clarification we should check. Correction's translation says:

"If you have entered a Chain of 1 or more, the game uses a flowchart I can't represent here, but you have a 5% chance of entering what's referred to as 'Chance Mode'"

If this is accurate, the way I'm reading it, the first kill doesn't actually count as being part of chance mode but rather puts you INTO chance mode. Thus meaning the TRUE minimum level to hit Chain Level 1 is actually 7 not 6. Since its 1 to enter chance mode + 6 consecutive kills during chance mode.

When I get home today, I'll experiment with creating Chain Level 1's and actually see if I ever level up on the 6th kill or if the lowest I get is the 7th kill.

Wow, yea. I had a really stupid bug in the program lol, it totally changed the results when I fixed it. Essentially what my program does is imitate getting Chain Level 3 10,000,000 times and then see how the results came out. The bug was that I was going 0, 0, 0, 0, 40, 60, 80, 90, 100 (similarly for Lv. 2 and 3) instead of that extra 0 at the beginning. Fixing it changed the results dramatically

On average, you will reach level 1 on Chain 30
On average, you will reach level 2 on Chain 76
On average, you will reach level 3 on Chain 141

The fastest you will ever reach Chain Level 1 is on Chain 6, 0.15367% of the time.
The fastest you will ever reach Chain Level 2 is on Chain 12, 0.00016% of the time.
The fastest you will ever reach Chain Level 3 is on Chain 21, 0.00001% of the time.

The slowest you will ever reach Chain Level 1 is on Chain 31, 84.6997% of the time.

The reason it says 21 is the fastest you'll ever reach Chain Level 3 is because out of 10,000,000 attempts, it never got Chain Level 3 before that >.> so yea, the odds of that shit happening are pretty low lol. Worse than 1 in 2 billion if you just multiply all the percentages.
