Kay, i seriously cant find this mark. what is the path I need to take (or where exactly/directions) to getting to this? I knw its in the withering shores but cant figure out for the life of me how to get to that area

Go to the central area of the eastern sandsea (name eludes me) and go into the zertanian caverns. Follow the path through to the other side and your mark should be there.

Eastern sandsea, not west - the hunt is in the west, but you can only get there from the east. I don't remember the name of the spot either, but the zone to Zertinan Caverns that you want is in the northeast part of that zone, which should help you narrow it down. From there, it's a short, linear run.
