Apollyon Vortex

I was wondering on the conditions the vortex to next floor opens? is it random killing mobs or? what if u killed the floor's boss 1st? does the vortex automatically opens? cause i killed 4 buffolos in NW and it didnt open and i run out of time :/ or are there spicific mobs that we should kill to unlock it? thank you in advance

for example today, I killed the first Ghost NM in NW Apollyon then proceed to 2nd and still no vortex >< then killed Pluto the boss NM still not opened yet then killed the third ghost NM then it opened.. its really annoying and retarded if it was /random

It's a randomly determined mob, sometimes you'll get it first one, sometimes like 5th lol.

SE: Kill boss of the floor (Ghost Clot, Tieholtsodi, Grave Digger)
NE: Kill (correct) boss of the floor (large Barometz/large Borametz/Goobue Harvester, Thiazi/Bialozar, Apollyon Sweeper, Hyperion/Okeanos/Cronos)
SW: Random Fir Bholg, large leafless Jidra, first Armoury Crate.
NW: Random non-boss mob.
