The Game of the Century? :X

Honestly, I didn't think the Michigan-Ohio State game was bigger then last year's Texas-USC game or even in 2002 when Ohio State-Miami in the Fiesta Bowl. What are you guy's opinions on the game itself compared to some of the other games this century.

Btw, I think USC will meet up with OSU but I hope not I don't like USC.

I can't vote between last year's rose bowl and the 2002 fiesta, they were both just freaking amazing. I would say the fiesta would have been the better game if the refs hadn't ruined it at the end.

Watching Vince just go "dammit I'm winning this game, with or without you guys" and then do it was pretty damn amazing though.

I am a michigan fan... today was an awesome game but... that ohio state miami game was the best football game in history.

as far as importance goes... this was it. #1 vs #2, last game of the season, biggest rivalry in sports, heisman trophy on the line, conference championship on the line, and what most see as the true national championship game.

Ohio State vs Miami 2002 was just an amazing game. As good as USC last year vs Texas was the 2002 Fiesta Bowel was just an amazing, heart wrenching, and emotionally draining expierience ( might be because of my allegiance). It was so good I paid 300.00 to have a panaramic view from the endzone, on the final drive for OSU, mounted and matted into a 15.5" x 40 that grace's my living room. That game will always be on when its on ESPN classic.

Speaking about the Apple Cup, FSN was the only station not working throughout the entire campus So a group of us went down to a restarunt and watched it there.

I voted OSU/Miami. I really did not think OSU had much of a chance in that game after watching them in person for the "Holy Buckeye" game. The late flag in the NC on the pass in OT was pretty cheap, but it worked for me since I was rooting for OSU.

USC/Texas was just as good of a game, but I seriously felt Texas was the better team for a good 2 months before that game. I never bought that whole "2005 USC...best team of all time" hype and pointed out multiple times that I felt they weren't even the best team of 2005. (which Texas later proved)

I voted USC-Texas. Teams were #1 #2 all season. No other undefeated teams. No cause for conflict, these were the two best teams and they lived up to the hype.

OSU-Mich was a hell of a game, but a regular season game nonetheless. A ticket to the championship game was on the line, but not the championship itself. And if the two teams end up in a rematch, it will prove how pointless the game is.

OSU-Miami? When one of the lead stories about any game is its officiating, I refuse to consider it a good game. The best officials never make the paper, much less are a lead story. For a "Game of the Century," both teams and the officials have to have a good game.
