btw... it may have been cause I did the fight at lvl 69, but I think it has 100% accuracy even w/ a shield, so use 2h weapons for all

Someone mentioned in another thread that anything worth fighting at high levels (meaning most marks and optional bosses) will ignore evasion. As for the Masamune vs. Tournesol thing, don't forget that you can give the genji glove to the tournesol user too. Of course at level 99 you can usually do 9999 damage per hit with either one, so Masamune pulls ahead agin.

Currently using Tournasel on Vaan (tank).
Masamune on Fran (mage/healer)
Zodiac Spear on Basche (DD)

Works pretty well. Have bubble belt on vaan (cause casting bubble is dangerous in hard fights), cat ear hood on fran, and ribbon/cat ear hood/genji gloves on basche.

Let fran do most of my curing, then use syphon off Bashce to always stay full mp.

Dumb off-topic quick question, but what exactly does the cat-ear hood do?

50 Speed. Basically, it's like auto-haste except that you can still get Hasted and act even faster.

Try using Yagyu Darkblade on it since its weak to dark and ninja sword combos a lot too.
