I dunno but I had KB, ixion, and seer hunts all active at once but yiazmat wasn't offered til I finished all of them.

Same, ive done fafnir, KB, Ixion, Seer, all the espers. Am rank Knight of the Round. All i have left are a few minor hunts, yet it wont let me fight omega(he is inactive when i go down there) or yaizmat.

Kinda annoyed.

Not to mention i have no motivation to do the stupid long ass fishing quest so i can get the Wyrmhero blade at the end... since there is no use for it once youve beating everything..

I finished the fishing progression in like 3 hours. Way less than what it took to farm the stuff for Tournesol. Yagyu darkblade might take me twice that.

Is there really any point in finishing the fishing quest? I mean you really dont have ANYTHING left to fight once you have Wyrmhero blade.

In FF7, is there any point in turning in the desert flower and... whatever that thing was you get from emerald weapon? It's not for fighting, it's just there.

Gold chocobo for the flower and master materias for emerald's prize. The gold chocobo is completely fucking stupid I guess but a free set of master materia is cool, even at that point in your progress.

I think I missed the point of your post but shit has been whooshing over me due to brain deterioration from FF3 DS.

Ya, he SPAMS deathstrike on my tank, so everytime i get everyone up, buffed, and back to DDing he kills tank again and i have to start over. Really annoying.

the last 5 bars of life he goes absolutely ape-shit. he uses that crazy ass move where he doubles his level, and damn near every hit is insta-death. only buff i kept up at that point was haste. just zombie'd it for the most part.

LOL to anyone trying to say they have or will tank yaizmat w/o reverse.

It is NOT an option. At least in his last phase, he attacks 5-8 times CONSTANTLY, for about 3k-5k a hit. You just CANNOT cure that fast. Reverse isnt even a "cheat" on this guy because it doesnt stay up that long and yaizmat will still OWN everyone in the 1 second that reverse is down.

During the last stage i counted maybe 3 times in 40 that he didnt attack more then 3 times in a row.

Oh, and reverse means nothing when he is spamming deathsrike which instantly kills your members.

None of this is considering Cyclone, Stone breathe, White Breathe, and all the other jazz.

Even with reverse, decoy, pheonix down SPAMMING, and everything else, my members still died about 500 times during the entire battle.

I'm not motivated to kill this game 100% :/

You can survive ridiculous repeated combos but after 4 10hit combos the cures will fall a touch behind and you'll get stomped on. Same thing happened to me on a Fafnir where he went 3 combos in a row with 10 hits on each and I survived it but anymore after that would have been death.

A little hard to tell what's going on but I don't see him using Reverse... at least it sure doesn't look like it judging by the massive amounts of deaths from the multi-hit combos.
