To me, it would only be annoying if there were like 50 or so games that were online enabled AND I had more than let's say 15 friends that bought each online game that came out. That would be a lot of codes. I don't mind the codes, but yeah, the Username method is the best.

And it does show you when you have messages....the Wii glows.

nono, I meant the PS3. It tells you when you open the console via a small window at the top right hand side of the screen that fades away after 5 fucking seconds, but after that it doesn't let you know anymore... missed quite a few messages because of this.

What do you guys use, and why?

I'm pretty much in the dark, and honestly have only used 4 characters.

Added FC in in my sig.

    I use Waluigi/Diddy Kong.
Diddy Kong is just a little bitch with Red Card, and Waluigi's Special makes it easy to get a 6 Shot megastrike.
    For backup, I usually use
    Boo
    Hammerbros
    Dry Bones

    But, as I've said before
    I suck

I've been playing a few more matches, and all I can say is, Waluigi, Diddy Kong, and Hammerbros. are the most annoying things ever. Hammer bros. deke spam, makes me wish there was voice support, so I could yell at the douches that use such a cheap tactic.

Anyone wish there was a non Mega-Strike option for matches? I don't hate them or over use em, but I still wish the option was there.

p.s. Yoshi needs to be faster, way to drop the ball Next Level Games -. -;;. Canada fails again.

Meh, I've played enough to know how to get around them.
    Hammerbros?
Don't dive right in, go at them, and curve away. 10/1 they will deke, and be exposed when he's comming down so you can steal the ball.

Megastrikes take too long to power up, even when you're doing a 3 with slow speed, only in rare cases will they go off if you're quick. Besides, Megastrikes arent that bad to block.

A real bitch is fucking Toad.

Hammerbros isn't effective at all by the noobs who do seem to utilize nothing but an endless dekefest in an attempt to win. Like Falconblade said, just use one of your fast guys and wait for him to come down and steal the ball in between dekes.

@ Falconblade. Yea, I use a toad in my setup and the success of goalie jumps is random as all fuck. There doesn't seem to be ANY consistency to whether or not you make it over. I've gotten checked by the goalie five times in a row then had somebody just waltz over mine.

Also, another thing I noticed is that the momentum the ball has transfers over to your dekes.

Case: Dry Bones. His deke is shit with a bad ball, but he warps a decent way when he has a white ball. Enough to go past goalie easy. Same with Waluigi.
