It's so incredibly hard to get a perfect wall though...I'd never bank on it.

Anyone have a problem with their Wii crashing on strikers? I've added about 20 losses to my record because my Wii keeps crashing mid match.

I got a quick question about strikers..
I'm playing on the highest difficulty, but it seems like the AI keeps trying to charge for a kick right before passing the ball, but then when he passes the ball and the person who receives it shoots right after touching the ball, half the time the damn thing goes in... does it actually help to charge before passing? and if so, do you just let it charge and not touch the pass button, or do you actually charge and then do the passing with A?

EDIT: oh, and if you hold B with someone while a different character passes you the ball, does it actually make the shot stronger? or it doesn't do anything..

If you notice, the ball changes color as you pass it around. The brighter it is, the more powerful your next shot will be. If you hold B, you prep a shot. However, as you hold B the ball charges up. If you pass it before the shot goes off, you've essentially saved about 3-4 passes worth of charging without having to pass the ball.

Ooooooh I get it, basically that's how they keep scoring by now even charging the ball? (as in, the one that does the final kick doesn't charge it, he just gets the pass from the other guy who charged it and scores..)

And in the edit I meant a different thing though... I meant like, you pass the ball with hammerbros to luigi, and while the ball is making its way to luigi you control him and hold B... does that do anything? Because I still don't get what the slow-motion thing is all about (sometimes when the AI passes the ball to someone else in its team, once the ball gets close to that person the game goes into slow motion for like 3 seconds, still don't understand what it does but I was assuming it shows a strong kick.)


NINJA EDIT: And have you tried letting the Wii shut off for a bit? Maybe you had it on for too long..

Yea, if you hold b as a charged up shot is coming to you, it'll go slo-mo. And yea, my Wii doesn't stay on typically.

Thanks for the tips, i'll try it out and maybe actually score some goals from a bit further away (most of my goals at the 2 highest levels are mainly toad leaping over the goalie lol...)
