well then you would have to narrow zelda down to more of an 'Adventure Game' since you go out and adventure, but then again if i'm playing a FPS i'm still on an adventure - so what would you classify it as?Originally Posted by Lbelle

According to GRT's retarded logic an FPS would still be an RPG because you're playing the ROLE of the shooter I guess...that's what I'm saying. If you think how GRT is thinking every game would be a RPG because in every game you're playing the role of someone, or being someone...you know?Originally Posted by Boyiee
i'd ask what game classification has anything to do with what we've been talking about, but this is BG and there are tardsOriginally Posted by Boyiee
but then again, i played a ranger in ff11 and liked to go into the first person perspective, so i must've been playing a FPS![]()
Its own genre which is so rarely tapped they havent bothered to name it.Originally Posted by Boyiee
which is why i always though that kind of classification is retarded on its own, it matters as much to me as when people say i'm stupid cuz i don't capitalize or use proper grammer on an internet forumOriginally Posted by Lbelle

zelda is not an rpg, it's action-adventure.
Videogame RPGs simply mean statical advancement, usually by the means of levels. This mimics tabletop RPGs, if you cut out the actual role-playing. The more traditional and common RPGs are filled with storyline, potentially making it appear that it is the log of events of a couple of tabletop RPG sessions.
I was just kidding around because of the comment on every game being an rpg lol. Zelda is Zelda, leave it at that ;p
Capcom did ported over RE4 to an inferior machine. No reason why Konami can't do it.Originally Posted by GRT

You may call me Wii.
In the last EGM, in the Rumor Mill. Microsoft and/or Konami is putting pressure on Kojima to put it on both.Originally Posted by Nightstriker
