yea.. camera control is pretty easy/smooth with keyboard.
but here is a question for you pro-PC users:
how do you select people in the alliance w/o using tab/mouse/"/target name" I was told that PS2 can select people in the alliance by simply moving the directional pad after you selected someone on the alliance list.
it's always been a difficult task for me to heal people in the alliance because of the targeting problem.
is it true with PS2 control? and can it be done with PC?
PS2 user here.
It's works fine, till you get to that melee with 15 equip swaps because you lose your target when they swap on you. But it works.
They seem to be always half way to the guy that needs that cure bomb.

Two years as a mage job and you don't know how to target your own alliance. Gewd jerb.
I'm a BLM, why would I need to target anyone in my Alliance? Except to nuke people when they are charmed, of course! >:) No, I don't really cure anyone outside of my PT, only few time's I cure in Dynamis is to be nice to the few specific people in my PT. If I was a WHM you're point would be valid though.
Queue the debate about BLM curing in Dynamis. Go~~~~~~
fuck that. let's start the debate about lolblm/nin in dynamis!
That's reason enough right there.Originally Posted by spooky

I also never dug for it, sure is helpfull when laied out on the table like that though.
Too bad I didn't know about that when I could have used it. I used to complain about people with long names in dynamis when I was one of the only mages in an alliance.Originally Posted by Goso
People you hope to get charmed should have their own macro.Originally Posted by Obev

The difference is the PC one comes with shitty microsoft drivers. Just buy a wired XB360 controller and find your own drivers. Its just microsoft trying to make an extra buckOriginally Posted by wood
the "non-pc" version will work fine, just plug it in and run windows update, it'll find the drivers automatically...but lol@wired

I use this on my PC, it just hooks the PS2 controller right up. It's pretty good, but looks like unavailable right nowcould prolly find it somewhere else tho.
I used to use the logitec one that plugs right into usb, but the arrow keys never worked right and it kept locking up and making me just run off randomly. Was crap.
Just wanted to say thanks for posting this.
btw, there's 2 controllers, the 360 controller for the 360 and one for PC. They are exactly the same, the PC one comes with microsoft drivers, but you don't have to use those, just dl the xbcd drivers posted above.
