Actually, it looks like those little towers in South Gustaberg, with the boxes and suchlike nearby them? It's rounded, and Al Zahbi architecture tends toward more angular design. Also, you can see the canopy-structure thingy (I forget the proper name for it) next to the tower.

Too bad they aren't letting you ride chocobos in Al Zahbi, though (at least as far as we can tell.) Mostly because the thought of a Besieged where several hundred people pull out their Chocobo Whistles and stage a cavalry charge against Gulool Ja Ja amuses me.

Please make Salvage instanced and not as long/drawn out as dynamis. An inverted Besieged would be cool- give us 1.5 hrs to break through a set of defenses and try to take something from the enemy. Allow a large group to enter, but scale difficulty based on how many actually do enter. Zones could be a pirate ship, a castle-like area such as where Cerby spawns, a more fortified Mamook city, etc.

More merit camps prz. Thickets/Mire are almost always packed, and now Troll camps are occupied pretty frequently too. That, or buff Signet.

QFT. One nerf is more than enough. SE need to look at how the job is really played before making any changes, rather than their fantasy of a pet-wielding party job.

The job doesn't need any more solo boost, but defenitly needs a party boost. I just made that comment to say i hope they make partying better but i don't want any negatives because of it. I want 10k/hour merit partys with my bst damn it!

Also, if parties are going to invite BSTs, make sure they are good. Everytime I see some BST partying with fucking AF in a party, using an axe outdated 5 levels ago while wearing CHR rings to compliment their Corsette+1, I die a little.

Well atleast I try to be a DD, I have most of the standerd DD gear but cannot out do a war or some other DD because the job was designed to have half the power in the master and half in the pet but when I get stuck with some stupid bubble showering crab that cant hit the broad side of a barn as my sidekick its hard to compete with the other melee DD.

I have no illusions of outdd'ing an equivalently geared/merited WAR or MNK (or insert your job that you've never ever been outparsed in here) but you really do have access to alot of gear to make BST not as horrible as its reputation gives it. After getting beast affinity x3 + gloves, I very rarely ever call Carrie. I basically only call carrie when I need the put use him as a tank and buy me some time. Funguar is a much better DD at 75 with affinity/merits, not to mention cheaper. I don't have a parser, but Wafik was running one for me while we were playing in sea off of T-VT mobs, I believe he said Funguars were hitting around 50% accuracy for decent amounts, hitting more often with double attack and hitting for more than carrie.

I wasn't joking about seeing BSTs leech their way in parties meleeing in solo charm gear. Almost every BST I check that manages to somehow get himself a party is pretty poorly equipped or doesn't match their equipment to the food they are eating.

Yup, its South Gustaberg. I can tell because of the towers and seeing quite a few Gustabergs in my time.

As for Salvage, if they continue with their current trend, it'll be a 6-person 15 minute affair for AF2 that will screw 64-person Dynamis linkshells over even more.

From 64 to 36 to 18... what next?

I PT in BST AF +1 pants >.>; There is a lot of good gear for beast, but bst isn't a war. There should be some real gear that actually helps out our pet (not just jugs) with acc or attack. Or make killer effects into what they were before.

I don't know, my bst is gimp and I don't have gloves (or helm for that matter) :/
